The FAITH-scientifically explained by a scientist!

Read this very interesting blog post. It is a conversation between a philosophy professor and a student. Find out who the student is at the end of this blog post. Don't miss even a single word....It's too good

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.

He asks one of his new students to stand and.....

Prof:
So you believe in God?

Student:
Absolutely, sir.

Prof:
Is God good?

Student:
Sure.

Prof:
Is God all-powerful?

Student:
Yes..

Prof:
My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal
him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)

Prof:
You can't answer, can you?
Let's start again, young fella.
Is God good?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
Is Satan good?

Student:
No.

Prof:
Where does Satan come from?

Student:
From....God. ..

Prof:
That's right.
Tell me son, is there evil in this world?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
Evil is everywhere, isn't it?
And God did make everything, Correct?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)

Prof:
Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness?
All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?

Student:
Yes, sir.

Prof:
So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)

Prof:
Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe
the world around you.
Tell me, son....Have you ever seen God?

Student:
No, sir.

Prof:
Tell us if you have ever heard your God?

Student:
No, sir.

Prof:
Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God?
Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?

Student:
No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Prof:
Yet you still believe in Him?

Student:
Yes.

Prof:
According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science
says your 'GOD' doesn't exist.
What do you say to that, son?

Student:
Nothing. I only have my faith.

Prof:
Yes, Faith. And that is the problem science has.

Student:
Professor, is there such a thing as heat?

Prof:
Yes.

Student:
And is there such a thing as cold?

Prof:
Yes.

Student:
No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of
events.)

Student:
Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega
heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat.. But we don't have anything called cold.
We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that.

There is no such thing as cold.

Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat.
We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .
(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student:
What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?

Prof:
Yes... What is night if there isn't darkness?

Student :
You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something.
You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing
light....

But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's
called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't.

If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't
you?

Prof:
So what is the point you are making, young man?

Student:
Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.

Prof:
Flawed? Can you explain how?

Student:
Sir, you are working on the premise of duality.
You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and
a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite,
something we can measure.

Sir, science can't even explain a thought.. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing.

Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.

Now tell me, Professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?

Prof:
If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes,
of course, I do.

Student:
Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to
realize where the argument is going.)

Student:
Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work
and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you
not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?
(The class is in uproar.)

Student:
Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's
brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)

Student:
Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain,
felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so.

So, according to the established rules of empirical, testable,
demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures,
sir?

(The room is silent.. The professor stares at the student, his
face unfathomable. )

Prof:
I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

Student:
That is it sir... The link between man & god is FAITH.
That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

How to avoid frequent failuresof gadgets?

You might remember the constant complaints about myriad matters from some of your friends and relatives. The nature of their complaints relate to frequent breakdowns of household gadgets and vehicles, missing the flights, holdups in traffic, investments that turn into losses, not getting the recognition in their work and profession and many more.

This is so in spite of living in comfortable house, having two or more cars and all the modern comforts and a more than adequate bank and cash balance.

Still.. wonder why they are still experience all the miseries?

Thoughts, feelings and emotions are vibrations and the frequency of them can create disturbances in not only ourselves but in everything that is made of the same materials. Everything, animate or inanimate-are composed of the same atoms that have universal characteristic and they behave in the same way when disturbed.

Got it?

So, what is the solution?
Examine those thoughts and emotions and feelings that are constantly in your mind and simply change them to the opposite.

How to recognize when they are changed?
Oh, it is very simple. When you have a thought, it should give relief from your previous disturbing feelings and emotions.

So, just reach for such thoughts that take you to higher vibrations which are joy and peace and gratitude.

Let the money in.

Don't believe you have to work hard to have money in your wallet. Please, I implore you to change your belief for once and for all. Just try living with this new belief for only three days as a trial period and analyze the results.

Just let the money in. Even if you are struggling to make both end meet, you can attract the money. All you have to do is give the last of the dime (if that is all you have) away to another person like you.

I see a little smirk on your face. It is alright. I understand. But try it however. What happens when you are giving away the money?

You are making room for money to come in. You believed strongly that if you lose the last dime, you might go penniless and thus held on to it. You have caused a blockage of circulation of an energy. Of course money is also a form of energy.

Start the energy (money) circulation and you will see it flow back through you. Change the belief; if money goes out, money comes in.

Never run out of time.

Our belief system plays havoc in our life. Remember, beliefs are created by us in response to our past experience.

If I say time is an illusion, there will be skepticism. So I will take another route. We all feel at some time or the other that we are short of time. We feel a pulsation at such times; we panic and do the unthinkable. We end up in regrets.

Here is viable solution that will lead to you think you have all the time in the world.

How about giving away your time to someone or even to yourself? Without thinking that you will be wasting precious time, invite someone to talk to or listen to. Or, better, if you just shut off your mind and just relax and listen to your heartbeat only.

Don't ridicule this idea till you try it out! We don’t give away our time only because we firmly believe there is no time to give. You believe in the lack of time but whereas time is only an illusion. We believe that if we give away time, then we will lose precious time. This belief should change to when you give something away you will get more to give away.

How about if you give time to others, you will get more time? And when you get more time, there is always enough for you and to others!

Steps to activate the law of attraction.

Probably, one of the most ignored aspect of law of attraction is keeping the body as flexible as your mind. If your body is flexible, then, it means of it is free of rigidity which are always caused by stress.

The next step to increase the law of attraction is in finding why you are not attracting! Log down on a paper, your complete activities for 7 days like maintaining a diary. Then on the 8th day read what you have written. If there are some repetitive and habitual activities, change them. If you think what you are doing is right always, then why everything is not alright?

Before you go to sleep, if somethings weighs you down, put them on a paper. This is an excellent method of flushing out, an effective cleansing of stress causing congestion. When your mind is empty, the law of attraction is activated.

Don't focus on getting a particular outcome. The cosmic force would want to give you something better and you are simply blocking it because your focus is on something else, on a different outcome of your actions and thus you are not even aware that you are given something better.

If you pray, always end your prayer by saying, "this or something better". This will open your mind to receive what is given as an answer to your prayer.

Tachyon healing energy from Japan.

Do you know how Steve Pavlina became very famous in the blogsphere? He knows exactly what people are looking for in the world. It is either wealth or health. Of course, sometimes both! And he has been giving that exactly.

Well, while he is an inspiration to me, my purpose of this blog is definitely not to become famous but to share my knowledge that God sees fit to give me.

I consider Abraham as my spiritual guide. In his latest update, he talked about this fantastic Tachyon energy.

In India, this energy though named differently (Chakra Energy) has been in existence over several millenniums.

Tachyon Energy directs the life energy (Chi) in a focused beam into any part of the body to remove blockages, relieve pain, balance an area and soothe the stress of an out of sync system or one that is low in energy.

I read a great deal about this today in the Internet and the information is astonishing. Dear, dear, let the whole world know about Tachyon Energy!

How to be perpetually happy?

Happiness-isn't that what we strive for throughout our life time? But, we are not happy at every second of our waking time. Happiness are very elusive. It is difficult to hold on to happiness like to trying to hold on to the fish you just caught with your hands.

Why so?
That is mainly because we always try to achieve something that is beneficial to us. Yes, the result is happiness of course but it doesn't long! In my opinion, it is because, the ulterior motive for most of our actions is to derive material benefit to self.

"I cannot believe that the purpose of life is to be happy. I think the purpose of life is to be useful, to be responsible, to be compassionate. It is, above all to matter, to count, to stand for something, to have made some difference that you lived at all."-Leo Rosten

If only we practice the above philosophy of life, then, there is no other way for happiness to escape from our clutches. We will be perpetually happy-
isn't that what we strive for throughout our life time?

A new visitor to my husband's blogging academy turned to be an voracious reader of spiritual and self development books and guides. My husband's face lit up to 1000 Watts.

The visitor was given a free time to browse through my husband's personal library of self development and spirituality books. They both started discussing about various books and totally forgot about the visitor's purpose which was to inquire about the various training courses on blogging.

Then the subject as anticipated steered towards the 61 e-books on self development that my husband started promoting online. He advertises the the complete collection as
"The Greatest Library of Self Help, Success & Spiritual eBooks ever Written".

The collection includes these all time favorites:
As a man thinketh by James Allen
Acres of Diamond by Russell H. Conwell
Thoughts of Vibration
by William W. Atkinson

I thought the visitor would be tempted to buy the collection but he ended up as a trainee in my husband's blogging academy.

The real meaning of freedom.

I have been listening to the discourse of Sri. Velukkudi Krishnan's on Nyasa Dasakam that explains the full meaning and purpose of surrendering the ' I '.

I have no proper words to explain my gratitude to him. The deep insight on the act of surrender is very profound and I watch myself melting literally towards God.

What happens after listening to his discourse is when we start practicing the surrender, we start shedding away all the dirt in us; the anger, worry, fear, the attitude of competitiveness, the urge to win over something or somebody slowly but surely disappears and a supreme sense of freedom sets in.

God, isn't that I would call 'FREEDOM'!

Teaching wealth consciousness to children.

Who drew the line between wealth and poor? The wealth consciousness and poverty consciousness-who exactly taught this?

I don't remember reading in any books about teaching consciousness at all- whether wealth or poverty consciousness! Then how do they exist? Rather, what made them exist? Is there a way to change one's poverty consciousness to wealth consciousness?

I believe so but the end results are not guaranteed. It all depends on the receptivity of the person receiving the lessons. And I feel these lessons should be started at the young itself; not when one has experienced poverty for several years. Such people would have developed some hatred towards rich people.

To remove this hatred itself will take years. Then only we can teach the power of affirmations such as ,"I am attracting all the money I need and want. ". Before stressing the importance of affirmation, the power of inner belief has to be taught and give time to replace the existing beliefs that are the prime causes for the present poor conditions.

But, schools can seriously think of including in the curriculum itself the basic lessons of law of nature.

Michael Phelps is not Sachin Tendulkar.

Just tell me, what is the use of asking for a limo when you hardly can afford the gas for it?
Why people desire a mansion when they even can't think of maintaining it?

That is why their desires which are not in alignment with their needs don't become real. They simple are not a match with their desires.

Just because someone has something, it is not necessary that you also should have the same thing-right? This eye opener is from my friend Laurie Brenner. After reading her ebook, I realized that I never wanted anything that I really didn't require.

I don't have a car and I don't intend to buy one because I really don't need it. I work at home. I am too busy to go out. I hire a car when I step out of my house rarely.

Remember, not everything that you desire is right for you! A cricketer will never want to win the Olympic gold medal in swimming if he is afraid of water. Similarly, Michael Phelps can't emulate Sachin Tendulkar.

Law of Attraction works but to use it, realize who you are.

How desires are born?

Desires are given to you by the Divine. They don't originate from your brain. Don't take credit for the desires and its manifestation.

How desires work?
In a very simple and most common example, I will explain this. Imagine a kid growing up in a house full of noise that is full of abuses and hatred exchanged between its parents. At the early stage, even though the child may not grasp the full implications of incompatibility between its parents, its subconscious mind soaks in all the information.

As the child grows up, it will start understanding. It gets disturbed. It desires peace and love in married life. There! A desire is born!

Your desires are in response to what you observe. The divine has exposed to you to conditions that you don't want to experience in your life and thereby giving rise to new desires.

Since the desires are given to you by the Divine, it sure has plans to make those desires a reality which thus far existed only on the mental plane.

So, when you have a desire, be absolutely sure that it will manifest. Just have patience and let go and let God!

Got the point?

Why something negative happens?

After reading several book on the laws of Universe and after listening to Velukudi Krishnan's discourse, my mind is prepared by my creator in such a way that whatever happens is for good only.

When something something in my life experience which I or other members of the family look upon it as not expected and call it negative, I am beginning to see it as an indication that something is better is going to happen and that I am being prepared.

In my creator's point of view, the generally viewed condition as negative is positive to Him. This means to make place for the positive, the negative appears first. I am being prepared to accept whatever is given to me with gratitude.

This is a natural law of displacement-don't you think so?

The 7 A's of Attraction.

I am secretly happy that I am ending the 2008 with a blog post about Laurie Brenner, the lady who has been consistently affecting my life for better. I feel ashamed that I am poor to express the level of impact she makes on me. Next to Dr.Wayne Dyer, Joe Vitale and Echart Tolle, she is the one I respect the most; she is also the one I want to see along with the other three masters.

About a month ago, she gifted me her e-book titled, "The seven A's of attraction".
The seven A's:

Ally, Apprise, Amend, Allow, Ask, Appreciate, Action

I liked her way of approaching modern religion and I was surprised to find that someone, somewhere in the world agrees with exactly the same of values of mine. I remember these words that I read in a book: "Don't be like a Christian, be like a Christ!"

We both have a liking for quantum physics. I strongly believe that those who know quantum physics may tend to look at religion the other way.

But I don't say all the religious rituals are purposeless. They slowly draw a person towards his source; it inculcates the belief in high power. Ultimately, that alone will make him surrender. This has happened to me. I am a live example.

I would like to quote so many sentences from 'The seven A's of attraction" but I will do only one now.

"Everyone is allowed to be who they are. There is no law that says you have to like everyone as long as you allow them to be as they are. Allowing them is loving them, but it doesn't mean they have to be right inside your bubble. "

There is much more, dear, so much more in that wonderful book and in everything that Laurie says. She is just a pure soul. She is clearly on her way to enlightenment.

A refreshing experience listening to audio books.

My relative’s daughter is just 7 years old. Her visit to my house yesterday was absolutely refreshing. Watching her pranks was so fun and rejuvenating. And she is a kind of prodigy. Her intelligence is beyond words to explain.

She asked me if I had ever listened to an audio book. I said no. Then she opened an audio book from a CD, made me wear the head phone and immediately my ears were filled with a soothing voice that must belong to a professional actor only.

There were music and special effects that were essential to the story. I was told that in some audio books, there were many characters played by different people with lovely voice.

I asked the child where she purchased the audio books. She instructed me to go to www.AllBookClubs.com and insisted that I do it in front of her so that she can show her favorite audio books to me.

It is no wonder she has improved her pronunciation and vocabulary. Now I have an idea! Why don’t I create my audio book of math tutorials?

Right Now we have the greatest opportunity.

Yes, right Now we have the greatest opportunity. It is the most simplest logic to decide now.

"You create your next moments out of this moment". This is the most inspiring and thought provoking sentence in my life. Read it again and let it sink into your mind. You can do better. Write it out in bold and place it in several places in your house.

For tomorrow's tree, you plant the seed today.

Why wait for New Year to take resolutions? If you act today, you will add 7 more days to the year 2009. After all, when you want to be a different person for 365 days in the 2009, won't you want to carry yourself like that for ever? So, why don't you resolve today itself and add 7 more days?

Am I making the point clear?

For me, every day is the start of another year; I hope for the best at the start of every day. A special New Year means nothing to me.

The easiest way to have permanent peace.

Inspired by Bhagvat Gita and a discourse on it by Sri.Velukudi Krishnan today in the television today, I am writing this blog post which will show you a surefire way to live in infinite peace.

To attain this invaluable peace of living, you need not:
Do penance on a hill;
Pray several times a day;
Indulge in charity;
Undergo self torturing methods to please God or seek forgiveness;
Recite slogans, chant mantras;
Meditate;
Read religious books;
Do religious rituals.

But do this only: Whatever you do in your life daily, just offer the result to God or Source. Don't have an ulterior motive for any of your actions except doing it just for the sake of doing, so you derive satisfaction.

What happens when you leave the befits of your actions to the God or Source?
You need not have to tell lie so you stand to gain;
You need not put on a face that is not you to impress others;
You need not bend anything to win;
You need not have to compete and thus live a stress free day;
You need not use devious ways to gain or save a few bucks.

When you are free of all these, naturally, a calmness set in! You are blisfully not bothered about any results that may arise out of your actions.

This is the highest vibaration of your self. At this state of mind, you release all your resistance (negative emotions and thought). And when resistance is removed, everything you desire, everything you ever wanted will easily start flowing towards you freely.

The vision board that just delivers without question.

Whether you are naturally creative or use a digital vision board, the result is the same which is both will deliver exactly as you have visioned. No questions asked by the universe. It is your faithful servant. It will deliver to you exactly what you have projected on it by your visualization.

Some are naturally creative. They possess the ability to visualize what they would like to see. For example, take the case of an architect. He first visualizes the building as he would see it erected. Then he goes about bringing the mental image on to his drawing board.

He then organizes the resources, work force and start building the structure that lays on the papers. Finally, it stands as he had originally imagined in his mind.

But most are not naturally creative. But they can appreciate creativity. They can see the beauty of a building, a car, a yacht, a web site. These images they have liked and appreciated will get lodged in some corners of their memory.

When they use a digital vision board such as the one developed by Orange Peel, they might recognize some of the pictures and would like to see it again and again. They can order their digital vision board to do that for them.

Then, one fine day, they will see what they repeatedly saw in their real life. It is that simple.

So, what actually you did to manifest your desire? You only saw them in digital version several times ie: you did what you liked and in the process manifested what you would like to have, do or be!

How wonderfully blessed you are!

Start Creating Your Vision Board Today!

What is Fertility Yoga?

A stray cat stopped my taxi abruptly on a rather deserted street yesterday. The weather out there was windy and pleasant.

I was returning with my husband after shopping in a taxi. The taxi driver somehow managed to stop the vehicle thus avoided hitting the cat. The car made some screeching sound due to sudden stop.

We stopped in front of an Infertility Clinic owned by a lady gynaecologist. In her consulting hours board, I saw the words, "Fertility Yoga'. I never heard about Fertility Yoga. I suppose it is meant for pregnant women or is it also meant for just married?

Have you ever come across Fertility Yoga and what it is meant to do to pregnant women? Will it mean upside down exercises?

I am going to search for more information about Fertility Yoga. I will write about my findings here only if I understand it.

Attract anything without doing anything.

Want one million dollars?
Want to buy the latest BMW?
Planning for the Christmas vacation in Hawaii?
Aiming to score university first?
Want to speak to God?
Would you like to see $25 daily through Google AdSense?
Want to learn SEO in three days?

Please add your others wants to the list. Don't spare anything. Paint a complete picture.

Finished?

Now look at your list and read again slowly. What do you think your emotion will be when everything in your manifests?

Happiness! Yes, you will feel happy and you want to feel happy.

Be happy now! You need not follow any spiritual practice; not necessary to meditate. No need to undergo physical torture to please God.

None is hiding behind the clouds waiting to shower material to you upon praying. Yes, no one is up there.

You simply attract the right energy that makes up any material.

How?

Just by being happy! The energy you send out when you are happy is the exact energy that can bring anything you desire.

This is the law of universe buddy. No exceptions!

There can be reasons for being sad and dejected. But you don't have to have any reason for being happy.

Here, there and everywhere!

A word, a phrase or even an image is enough to ignite something in me to write blog post here.

What inspired me to write the following content is at the end of this blog post in red letters.

The following are some of the reasons for our stress, worry, errors in judgment, inefficiency in work and unkindly behavior.

* You are taking bath thinking about what you are going to do once you are out of the bathroom.
* You are eating your breakfast thinking what is going to be your lunch menu or what did you eat yesterday.
* You are dressing up for the day thinking you would rather stay put today.
* You are at your office desk wishing you are doing some other work in another company.
* You are computing some data thinking about how you are going to handle the next segment of your work.
* You don't reply kindly to a question by someone because your mind is on the movie you are planning to see two days later.
* You are studying economics at the college but wishing you opted for another faculty.
* You just bought a laptop but immediately regretting because a desk top PC is more comfortable.

" You want to be here and you want to be there at the same time".

The idea is to concentrate on the 'Now".

How to get the answer from your spirit guides?

I was narrated an incident yesterday by a friend of my husband. He just gained basic knowledge on how to call his spirit guides. He tested a few times and he was full of glee that his spirit guides answered his calls.

On his last meeting with his spirit guides, he sought their advice on something he was planning to do. He was disappointed that his spirit guides did not respond.

I told him his questions were wrongly worded. He was not aware that spirit guides will not make your decisions for him. Sure, they will offer their opinions and advice if you ask for it, but they will NOT tell you what to do. The final decision should always be yours.

My husband’s friend then asked me how to get the best out of his spirit guides.

I told him to rephrase his question: “If you were in….; if you were offered…; if you were informed…, what would be your …..?

He immediately recognized the smartness in the modified approach. He thanked me a lot and went off hopefully.

Applause
I hope his spirit guides conveys their appreciation for me.

How to keep moving up in life?

From beggar to multi millionaire, all wants to move up in their life. This is the basis of this expanding universe.

But, unfortunately, in spite of the desire, not everyone moves up even though they possess qualifications, drive and persistence.

Why?

Human beings are traditionally comfort loving species. We keep resisting changes when they knock at our door. We steadfastly cling to our past even if we look for changes. This means we unconsciously are afraid of changes.

The change may be a different place, new job or new responsibilities. But we are still reluctant to let go of the past. We simply fail to realize that in order to make new things to happen, we have to make room for them by letting go of the past.

For every transformation to arise, somethings have to vanish.

But, if we cling to the past, it means we are refusing to go with the flow of life.

Sound of thoughts?

Sound of thoughts or thought sounds? Whatever it may be, the purpose of these sounds is to give sort of brainwave entertainment for you.

Me? I listen to Kishore Kumar songs only to stimulate my never tired brain. Brainwave entertainment is still new to many.

Artificially stimulating alpha mind with matching frequencies is the basis of brainwave soundtracks. Now more soundtracks are being made to relax the brain. I too have a couple of these brainwave soundtracks gifted by my friends.

Though, the web is full of testimonials about positive results these sound therapies have produced, I am still skeptic.

The one simple rule to get what you want.

* I wanted to excel in Mathematics;
I did.

* I wanted to study and earn a few degrees;
I hold M.Sc, M.Ed, M.Phil degrees.

* I wanted to teach;
I do.

* I wanted a business minded husband;
I have.

* I wanted a huge house;
I have.

* I wanted a son;
I have.

* I wanted to sleep a lot;
I do.

* I wanted to work from home;
I work from home now.

* I wanted to go to Himalayas;
I went.

The list of my wants and desires and the fulfillment of them is really big. But I don't want to brag any more. It is not my intention to boast.

Ok, how did I manage to get all that I wanted? Any secret?

Yes, I realized now only that I have been following this one simple rule:
" When you want something, but can live by without having it, you have upped the odds of having it".

This means I never really bothered if I get what I want. This nature was inborn.

Who emotes- you or your mind?

* My mind says I should stay away from that family whose culture is totally alien.
* I can't understand how the people of a particular nation eat that food.
* I strongly condemn the practice of that islanders.
* Politicians should behave like me.

You label, attach tags, pass judgments, thus literally blocking the ways to find true human relationship. These judgments and opinions stand between you and yourself, between you and fellow men, between you and nature and above all it is between you and God.

This sense of false identity with which we are not born is the cause of all the miseries of the world. When one nation throws away 3 gallons of milk just because they don't need it and another nation reports hundreds of death due to starvation.

If I, from India want to reach out and help, I am prevented due to political barriers which are only artificial and man made.

Who wants to reconcile to the fact that we are all one and separateness is just an illusion? Who is ready to assimilate the fact that nature holds no barriers. Who is ready to understand that all that we admire and appreciate-beauty, love, creativity-arise beyond mind?

Oh, who is John Galt?

The attraction of the Moon.

The Moon that attracts the bold and beautiful, the rich and young and the famous and celebrities is located on the 53rd floor of the Fantasy Tower at the Palms Resort.

So, what else you thought?

Like the moon in the space that is more associated with the night, this Moon is an ultra-modern night spot that truly feels like it should be on another planet. This night club has a retractable roof to reveal the view if the star studded or cloudy night sky as the case may be.

After completing a tour of the Las Vegas Strip in a helicopter, we had time to return to our hotel to freshen up and then we headed straight to the moon. This is our second stop of the 6 Las Vegas Shows we had planned for our three day sight seeing trip to Wild West.

How to enjoy life?

I have been teaching mathematics since 1990. My classes starts from 5.30 AM and closes at 8.00 AM
I get a break to read newspapers, operate washing machine, do the cooking and this and that.

Again my classes start at 3.30 PM and ends at 8.00 PM. I eat and retire dead tired.

Look at my husband who works more hours than me but he gets time to read books, visit his friends and takes time to go out of station for a couple of days occasionally. He life is really enviable.

So, what am I lacking?
Why don't I find time for the things I want to do apart from working for a survival?
Am I not sincere in my work?
Am I not earning more than my husband?

Just whats wrong? What should I do to remedy the monotony?

For this my husband gave me a note that read:
"If you always do what you have always done, then you will always get what you have always gotten".

I stared at the message for a long time. Something turned inside me. I knew.

Do you?

The power of silence-Part 9.

A great mystic like Buddha could easily sense the interior preparedness of the philosopher, who had unreservedly surrendered himself, with profound trust, docile humility, and audacious hope. The very decision of the philosopher to come to him asking for an experience of the Truth was already a revolutionary step of personal conversion.

Thus Buddha did not need any external force to teach him or lead him to the Truth. Neither was there any need to prescribe techniques and exercises or lessons on meditation.

For Buddha, the philosopher's sheer openness, the sublime emptiness that could now be filled to the brim, was enough. He therefore compares this philosopher to a good horse that is so watchfully alert and aware that it begins to run if it merely sees the shadow of the whip. The master has only to touch the whip and the horse nearly flies. Buddha has only to look into the eyes of the philosopher and all the teaching that can ever be imparted is readily received.

Buddha's Silence was not wordlessness or noiselessness. It had a transforming power, permeating and filling the atmosphere around him with such intensity that people seated at his presence experienced "the ineffable and the inexplicable."

His Silence had no movement, yet people around him moved closer to the Truth just by being in his presence, permeated and filled by the effulgence of his joyous stillness. His Silence was contagious. It was like the unseen powers of a magnetic field or the invisible sound waves that travel in the atmosphere.

True Silence is not forced by any internal or external factors. It is natural and spontaneous, active and sublime. It wells up from the depths of our personality and overflows with a certain rhythm. It is mauna in the fullest sense of the term. It radiates energy and emanates vitality. Peace and joy are inseparably interwoven in its very essence.

This Silence is not negative; there is no "absence" of something. It is wholly positive, pervading the entire atmosphere around him, so that he can just sit without uttering anything and the people around him can receive wisdom. It is this pattern of Silence that the early Buddhist sculptors and artists endeavored to convey in their images and replicas of the Buddha.

Buddha's Silence was the result of a profound harmony within himself and with the world outside. It pointed to a deep concord between the centre and periphery of his self and his states of awareness or consciousness. Buddhism refers to seven layers of such consciousness.

A joyous quietude is attained when these seven layers throb harmoniously, pulsating in sublime awareness. Buddha is silent because he knows the narrow boundaries of rational knowledge and the blind alleys of metaphysical queries. He knows the frailty and feebleness of words and concepts. His discovery of the language of Silence helped him dispel the inner darkness and void created by a rational thirst for knowledge

In the Christian mystical and contemplative tradition, silence is strongly recommended as an ingredient of the religio-spiritual quest. The Desert Fathers and the later monastic tradition stress the role of silence for interior spiritual growth. St. Benedict advises his followers, "Monks ought to be zealous for silence at all times . . . ." Silence creates an atmosphere and an attitude for listening and receptivity, for response and recollection. Only thus can the Truth, that is, the Divine Reality, be able to permeate our entire being.

When we are truly silent, we understand the richness of emptiness. Very often such silence is equated with truth. A story of one of the Buddha's disciples can help us to discern how the process of achieving emptiness is an ideal means of attaining the Truth:

Subhuti was one of Buddha's disciples. He was able to understand the potency of emptiness: the viewpoint that nothing exists except in its relationship of subjectivity and objectivity. One day, when Subhuti was sitting under a tree in a mood of sublime emptiness, flowers began to fall around him.

"We are praising you for your discourse on emptiness;' the gods whispered to him.

'But I have not spoken of emptiness;' said Subhuti.

"You have not spoken of emptiness, we have not heard emptiness," responded the gods. "This is true emptiness."

And the blossoms showered upon Subhuti like rain.

Being silent about our own exercises of manifestation can considerably speed up the process of manifestation. That is why I always suggest keeping your imaging and visualization exercises as a top secret, something strictly between you and Source Energy. There is no need to tell your parents or your friends about your own personal meditation practices, especially if your intuition tells you that they are only going to shake your faith.

Let me wind up this piece with a small beautiful piece of profound Zen poetry:

At a place deep
In green trees,
A lamp’s light
Burns long.
Spring pilgrims
Make their way to the temple;
Blossoms fall
At a monk’s closed gate.
In the mind, the ten
Thousand doctrines are still;
A clear, lone spring
Purls over rocks.
We do not ask
About our lives, our work,
And the silence between us
We keep.

What causes stress?

Today is Thursday, a hectic day for me. I will have to handle my classes till 8 PM. Also I was expecting the service engineer to repair the washing machine. I wanted him to come before 4.30 PM before the power goes off.

This caused stress in me.

On every 29th I have to pay my credit card dues. Usually, I will get the cheques from two of my students on 23rd itself with which I will manage my credit card payment. But twice in the past, the cheques came only on 27th. I had tough time paying my credit card on due date. So, I start feeling the stress by 22nd itself.

As you notice, both the causes of stress are my belief that the service engineer may not arrive in time and the cheques may be delayed.

So, it is clear that belief causes stress, not your business or life situations. If I believe that the cheques will arrive in time and the service engineer will also come before the power goes off, I will not have any stress at all.

Please read this again and it reveal several of your beliefs that were the causes for your stress.

17 second thoughts.

Every thought entertained by our conscious mind and accepted as true is sent by our brain to our solar plexus (also called abdominal brain which causes the feeling of chillness on hearing bad news), the brain of our subconscious mind, to be made into our flesh and to be brought forth in our world as a reality.

The above passage is from "The power of subconscious mind" by Joseph Murphy.

In layman terms, if you examine the events, experiences in your life, you will surely find a related thought that was entertained by you sometime in your past. What I mean by 'entertained' is you munched over a specific thought repeatedly whether it is a positive or negative thought.

A thought seeks it physical expression when it is given life for a minimum of 17 seconds. So, there is ample time for all of us to stop ourselves in the middle of thinking a negative/destructive thought and immediately replace it with a positive thought.

Someone asked me how to find out whether we are thinking positively or negatively. The answer is simple; very simple really. If you feel happy while thinking, then you are on a positive note. But negative thoughts, though might give satisfaction when we are in a sullen or sadistic mood, the after effects will leave a residue of unpleasantness in our heart.

This is a very clear indication of our nature of emotions.

Masters degree in education, reading, literacy.

A couple of years ago, my close friend, presently working as a teacher, consulted me about getting a PhD in Continuing Education from a university online, preferably from an American University.

Capella University came to my immediately as I have already written about several articles about it and also spoke in a few seminars about the convenience of distance education.

After that, my friend did not pursue it further for reasons unknown to me. Yesterday, I listened to the ‘Inside Online Education’- a podcast from Capella University and learnt about their Master of Science in education, reading and literacy specialization that is also approved by the state of Minnesota.

I intend to ask my friend to visit capellacommons.com and listen to the podcast that I am sure will encourage her to think again.

Whatever you want, wants you.

Whatever you want, wants you!

What comes to your mind immediately after you read the above sentence?

I sat up when I read it for the first time. It seemed to be the basis of law of attraction. If the entire universe is made of the five basic elements-earth, fire, water, air and the space (sky), then our body, mind and the consciousness is also made up of the same five elements.

When we want something, the five basic ingredients of us start vibrating and sending out signals that attract the vibrations of that we wanted. So, we all get what we want, at least immediately on the mental level.

So, to see it on your physical level, we must allow them. But we must remember to leave all the details to the universe. Let the Universe figure out the place and time of delivery.

Just keep your faith and trust in the cosmic force and it will do the rest.

You can choose to read everything about law of attraction and how to practice it. All of them will end up saying this:
1. Get very clear on what you want
2. Visualize and raise your vibration about it
3. Allow It

The final part, 'Allow' sounds very simple but difficult to implement but possible. It requires dedicated practice.

Unfortunately we are all adept at practicing the art of resisting. Reading negative and disturbing news, seeing violent and horror movies, eating unhealthy food, doubting the benevolent nature of cosmic force are all the major contributors for our miserable and deplorable character. None of these allow us to cultivate the art of allowing.

In my life experience there is only one simple way to find out if I am practicing the art of allowing:
If I am happy NOW, I am allowing the gifts of Universe; else, I am definitely rejecting them. No exceptions.

How to step out of a random, chaotic universe?

This question won't be asked by anyone under the age of 40. For them, this chaotic universe is pulsating with life and verve. They dare not think how life will be without all the excitement they are currently experiencing.

But this question, "How to get out of this chaotic and polluted universe" will slowly surface and dominate the thoughts of many who have crossed 40 years. This will be more so and become an obsession when they cross 50 years.

For them, there is an answer for questions like these:
How will your life change as you find out about the true nature of our universe, and how it responds to the desires of your heart?

Choose to take part in rejuvenating the entire planet while also Creating What You Want!

Want legal assistance in Waco, Texas?

In the olden days, when a person leaves for a strange new place or even abroad, elders in the house used to give them a lot of advice. They also supply a few addresses of important contacts in the city where one is heading. The important contact persons include distant relatives, friends and their friends etc.

Now the days are changed. Recently, my relative’s son headed for Waco, Texas on official assignment. The contract period was for one year. His company provided him with telephone numbers of a few resources that include a Waco Personal Injury Attorney who provides free initial consultation among other resources like nearby driving schools, hospitals, regional community centers, doctors who provide immediate medical assistance and more.

Very thoughtful of them-eh?

Change your beliefs to change your life.

"If there are things in your experience that you no longer wish to experience, your belief must change.
If there are things that are not in your experience that you want to bring into your experience, your belief must change."

I received the above quotation in my mobile phone as SMS. Though I liked it, I could not exactly explain why I liked it. Something is trying to tell me something but I could not place it.

Yes, I beginning to see the meaning. Let me see if I understood it correctly.
I am frequently disturbed by various callers that include parents of my students, students, ex-students and so on. None of them have the manners to call and come. They just barge in unannounced assuming that I will be whenever I am taking class.

Whenever I hear the front gate being opened I believe someone is coming to see me. My husband used to laugh at me. There are people at the ground floor, there are others in our house; in spite of that how can I believe that way?

Exactly this belief is attracting visitors to me. So, I should change my belief that I will be left free and the visitors are for others only.

How to receive from Universe?

You ask; it is given immediately. But you don't see it in your physical experience.

This is the stale story for almost all of us. Yes, I mean there are exceptions. There are people I know who get what they asked for almost instantly.

My husband is a classic example. I have been seeing him living a life that he wanted. His own working hours that he keeps shrinking so that he can read books on anything he likes. And do you know the books find him always?

When I asked him how, he replied that he didn't know. In fact, his secret he told me several times is, he never asks how. He just leaves it for the universe to deliver.

It means he is in perfect alignment of his desires. It means, he doesn't entertain doubts over the manifestation of his desires. He believes strongly that it will be manifested.

If one doubts, then, whatever has been given will stay only in his mental level. Ah, one more character we must develop in order to receive what is given- Patience-infinite patience is required to produce immediate results.

Miracles happen by and by; not according to your agenda.

Your focal point's ill effects.

The non-stop of watching of television dramas, short films, soap operas and so on, does more damage to human mind than any other destructional devices or products.

Our eyes are so glued to the human frame in the TV screen for long time that they fail to see the surroundings of the human characters. We are totally identified with the characters and start emulating them in our real life unconsciously.

This causes serious damage to our relationship with others and also with the environment. Even when we walk on the road, we focus fully on the human beings and not on the greeneries, birds, insects, buildings and a myriad other things.

I implore you to think on these lines and give your attention to the charms of life too.

What exactly means by surrender will.

The rationalists will scorn at the word 'Surrender'. I don't blame them. I too was like that till the Divine said to me " I am with you always; surrender your will, desires, aspirations at my feet". I immediately complied and life is never the same. It is blissful to note that the God is sitting beside me, thinking for me, guiding me to make decisions.

Yes, surrender means accepting helplessness literally.

But what happens after the acceptance?
You are creating an energy field of receptivity for the solution to appear. (Dr. Wayne Dyer) I request you to read it again and munch on it.

It is like recognizing the fact that our plans always don't work but God's plan works always.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

There is an old Tamil song that goes on to say that if whatever we think happens in real life, then there can be no God. It implies that if we manifest whatever we think, then, there is no necessity for God.

The problem is it is very true that whatever we think will manifest. It is the law of universe. No exceptions. Then why do I call it a problem?

Because, we think not always that what we want to happenin our life; we give more thoughts on what we don't want. We have developed this deplorable quality of thinking/contemplating /rehearsing failures and as per the law of universe, that also is experienced by us.

Can we develop the habit of thinking only what we want to happen in our life?
Yes, we can.
But how to drop negativity?
How do you drop a piece of hot coal?

There is another fool proof method that I am following and seeing immediate positive results. I wish for others that I want to experience in my life such as health, wealth, peace and love. In essence, It is easy for me to think on what good things to happen to my friends' and relatives' lives. Here, I don't find myself inserting catastrophic events.

The law of cause and effect is thus activated and it goes to work and bring me what I wished for others.

See, isn't it easy? Try it brother and you will see immediate results.

The power of silence-Part 8.

The practice of silence helps us create an inner sense of equilibrium which encourages genuine wellbeing. Such feelings attract fulfillment and a strong faith that the universe is beneficent. We are constantly encouraged to engage in an ongoing search for satisfaction … without ever finding it. It keeps us striving.

Mauna, rendered in English as "silence," was the chief characteristic of the life of Buddha. The word mauna is one of the few terms used commonly by all language and religious groups in India. Mauna, from which the noun muni, meaning "sage" or "hermit" is derived, has a meaning exorbitantly wealthier than its English counterpart "silence." Mauna means blissful calmness, joyous recollection, tranquil quietude, and peaceful stillness.

A philosopher once visited Buddha and asked him: "Without words, without the wordless, will you tell me the truth?" Buddha kept silence. After a while the philosopher rose up gently, made a solemn bow and thanked Buddha saying: "With your loving kindness, I have cleared away all my delusions and entered the true path."

When the philosopher had left, Ananda, a senior disciple of Buddha, enquired: "O, Blessed one, what hath this philosopher attained?"

Buddha replied: "A good horse runs even at the shadow of the whip!"

This is the eighth part of a series of articles on the power of silence written by Pramod K Uday. He is a leading news paper columnist in India.

How to get enlightenment?

Enlightenment means not relinquishing the world and everything in it including your body, soul and mind. It is not to be associated with retiring to Himalayas leaving behind your family. It is nothing to do with doing away with desires.

Enlightenment means the realization that you and I are one. It is a mental state of being at one with God and everything else in the planet earth. A total piece will encase you when you are connected with your source.

How to get to enlightened state?
To know that, you must know what is preventing you from getting to that state of enlightenment. The incessant mental noise that is very active even in your dreams is the only culprit that is preventing you to be enlightened. Enlightenment is the end of suffering-right?
Enlightenment is freedom from non-stop thinking-isn't that a big enslavement?

Daily, sit for just 5 minutes and try to stop thinking and just focus your mental attention on your breathing-the life inside you. You will still allow thoughts. Let them out and don't curse yourself for allowing thoughts.

When you allow thoughts, assume that you are releasing them and wait for next thought. Now, it will take a bit longer to come. Release it and now command for next thought. Now it will take more time to come.

This in-between time is precious. You will be at blissful peace. Words can't express that feeling. Practice this exercise daily for just 5 minutes and soon you will wait for this time. Slowly, you will lapse into this no-mental-noise state for more time; I mean the time between thoughts will become longer and finally, it will stop.

You can then gently wake up and go about your day's work with renewed vigor and confidence.

Try it dear.

Make the universe owe you.

Your highness...Image by blipars via FlickrThe image here captivated me and it has no connection to what I am about to write.

I used to wish my friends, relatives, my husband's friends on their birthdays and wedding anniversaries. I am gifted with great memory and the receivers of my greetings are always astonished at my promptness.

Oh, enough of me! When I wish, I feel it sincerely and I am never upset that many of them forget to reciprocate on my birthday. It just didn't matter to me. It never mattered.

Very recently I read the following lines and I am glad of my attitude:
" You just wished yourself nothing but the best by wishing for others". Isn't that profound and true?

When you wish others without expecting to be reciprocated, the universe feels a large debit in its account and it doesn't like it that way. It wants to set its account right and goes about bestowing upon you its abundance.

In fact the Universe feels burdened by your gracious acts and it reaches out to you at the right time and at the right place.

Religion rules? So be it!

"Religion is the opiate of the people” — Karl Marx

We have no way of knowing what went on Karl Marx's mind when he thought of this. I also wonder what prompted him to put his thought in writing!

First let us rule the most used meaning of opiate and stick to the other one:
As per Merriam Webster Dictionary, opiate means: " induces rest or inaction or quiets uneasiness"

If this is so, why Karl Marx had linked religion to rest, inaction or uneasiness. Don't you think he had pointed to three different kinds of people? I am now able to see the implications but I don't want to get into a debate.

As far as I am concerned, I will bracket myself into the second category which is 'inaction'. My religious philosophy is this: "There is no religion". I don't judge any religious beliefs and customs. Let people follow and practice whatever they are comfortable with.

My religious beliefs kept changing till I arrived at the conclusion of no religion. So, anyone is quite likely to change their present views and beliefs. Why take it seriously and expect them to conform with my views?

Live and let live!

How to raise your current vibration?

The most simplest way to raise current vibration is to first want it to be raised and express the same through your spoken and written words. If everything in this universe is only vibration, then, the words also carry the vibration of the author of the words.

A sample experiment:
Q: "How are you?"
A: " Just great" instead of the banal "fine" or "Ok, life is going on".
Observe your mood after you try this and also watch the vents of the day.

All the books you read, the words in them carry the intention and the vibration of the author. That's why, you feel motivated, inspired, pensive when you read spirituality related books or articles.

Today, I read an article on this same topic by Keith Varnum "Tell a Better Story about Yourself".
The author echoed my views and here is an excerpt:"If you carefully observe the vibration you're in at any given moment, and then notice the events that occur soon afterwards, you'll get a sobering demonstration of the dynamic creative muscle of your everyday words in action."

Here is a superb observation and inference:

The Universe Is Listening.

"Every time someone asks us, How ya doing? it's also the Universe asking, What will you have? What do you want today to be like?"

I feel the above tips is sufficient for all of us to think again before saying anything.

I thank Al Diaz for having published the quoted article in his newsletter.

Free personality test.

I love these tests that will interpret a few answers of mine and depict a picture of me which will invariably be different from what I think of me.

I know many people avoid taking such personality tests for sheer fear of facing the fact. Such persons simply would like to keep their own evaluation of self, intact. These people are simply not interested in raising their character and find a new self.

If you are like me with an open mind and sincerely interested in finding out your true personality, please visit Kabbalah and take the simple online personality test. It is a great self discovery tool. I am absolutely sure this personality evaluation will enhance your character and enrich your relationship with life.

HRD (human resource development) personals can use this test for the benefit of their corporate clients and students.

If you are:
* committed to making an important change in your life?
• ready to invest time and effort in your future?
• prepared to try something different?
• interested in finding out and removing blocks in you that are actually psychological barriers which turn all your efforts not very productive?

If you answered yes to these questions, then Atzmi’s Self-Discovery option is for you.

I have taken an interesting test and awaiting results through email.
