How to be among top 8% of the world 's wealthy?

Do you have any clue?
Can you imagine your prayers give job to hundreds and even thousands of workers up in the house of Gods?

Read this email and tell me what you have felt after reading. I received this email from my co-sister.

"In my wildest dream, I noticed I was leisurely being shown the heaven by an angel . We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, ' This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received.

I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.

The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them." I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.

Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. "This is the Acknowledgment Section, my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed." How is it that there is no work going on here? ' I asked.

"So sad," the angel sighed. "After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments".

"How does one acknowledge God's blessings? " I asked.

"Simple," the angel answered. Just say, "Thank you, Lord. "

"What blessings should they acknowledge?" I asked.

"If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world 's wealthy. "

"And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity."

"If you woke up this morning with more health than illness .... You are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day. "

"If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... You are ahead of 700 million people in the world."

"If you can attend a temple, gurdawara, church or a mosque without the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world."

"If your parents are still alive and still married ...you are very rare."

"If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you're unique to all those in doubt and despair......"

Ok, what now? How can I start?

If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.

Have a good day, count your blessings, and if you care to, pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are

ATTN: Acknowledge Dept.
"Thank you Lord, for giving me the ability to share this message and for giving me so many wonderful people with whom to share it. "
If you have read this far, and are thankful for all that you have been blessed with, how can you not send it on ??? I thank God for everything, especially all my family and friends."

What a simple 'thank you' can get you.

Now, I am grateful for the newsletter that I received today that inspired me to write this blog. I am positive that the message in this blog post will reach at least one person in this world. And he will pass it on surely thereby creating a chain.

Now, here is what inspired and motivated me.

"You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you." - Sarah Ban Breathnach

This keeps our focus on those wonderful experiences. By the law of universe or more specifically, by the law of attraction, what we focus, expands. Those laws see to it that we experience more of the same (what we experienced and said thanks for).

What are you thankful for?

Time and again, I have blogged about the power of feeling grateful for as many things as possible and how gratitude can bring you the very things that you feel grateful for.

As I have told, the cosmic forces will shower on you the things, people, circumstances, places that you sincerely appreciate and say thanks for bringing them into your life experience.

If you are like that way, isn't it wonderful to meet like minded persons online to share your thoughts and experiences?

Go toThankfulFor – register and answer this one question: “What are you thankful for?” You can post small personal thanks, share it to the community, and then read what others are thankful for today.

Today I thank Flickr and Zemanta for showing me the picture of this rare colored flower.

Are we going to pay forward?

Probably this is one of the most profound and thought provoking sentences.
"Of all those people who went before to prepare the way for us, most of those people will not ask us to pay them back. But what they do ask of us is to pay it forward"

The very basic law of universe as per Bhagvat Gita is just do what you can do within the accepted ethics without expecting anything.

Today, whatever we are, wherever we are, we owe everything to our ancestors, forefathers, inventors, discoverers, philosophrers and politicians. They have all planted so many seeds without asking us to pay them anything.

Today we are all enjoying the fruits of the seeds sown then.

It is time that we ask ourselves what we are going to do for the future generation. Shall we created a movement?

You are one of the richest in the world.

So what if my blog’s page rank is stripped off?

So what if the basic essentials are not available in the shopping mall?

So what if India loses another cricket game?

So what if newspapers report another major fraud?

It is a beautiful day to be alive-right? There are still plenty of things to appreciate and be grateful for.

If you care to stop whatever you are doing right now and just shut your mind off for exactly 3 minutes, you will have a big list of things you would feel heartfelt gratitude for.

If by any chance, you can’t think of anything to appreciate and be grateful for, go to the “Acknowledgement section” in the heaven and listen to the angel in charge of that section.

The secret of gratitude.

Well, actually there is no secret at all. It is truly simple.

Whenever you say thanks, it will always be in appreciation of something done to you or something you experienced without a third party's help.

And when you say 'thanks', it simply means telling the universe, 'more of this please'. Well, you may not use the exact words but that is how the universe understands and interprets your emotion.

Do you realize what does this imply? Do you understand the importance of gratitude? Gratitude is the highest frequency with which you can access your creative source-your God.

I happen to read an article today on the power of being in gratitude and the author says, "When you speak words of gratitude you are placing yourself in a state of acceptance and love".

There is a stunning photograph that blog post carries. I am in absolute awe of that image of a woman. I think it is a painting.

I can't resist reproducing it here. It has some power.

Exploring the laws of universe.

It has been a long time since I indulged on thinking aloud on the laws of universe in this blog though, I have been very sincerely trying to follow them. I must confess that it has not been easy always to follow that I vowed to practice. After all, 50 years of non-practice of these universal laws has accumulated a lot of residue in my system that I have been trying to dissolve.

The very first law that is the most perfect match to the vibration of our creator is the law of appreciation aka law of gratitude.

Even for every small things that happen in our day to day life, there are reasons to appreciate and thus feel gratitude for. The more we appreciate it means saying to the universe 'More of it please'.
I liked this explanation written in the book "Ask and it is given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

Actually, this explanation is straight from the mouth of Abraham, an ascended master, who spoke through Esther.

The power of appreciation or the power of gratitude makes you feel good. And when you feel good, you have no resistance. The negative feelings like anger, depression, worry and fear do not find a place in you when you are appreciating something.

As you keep your vibration at this higher level, the law of attraction as one of the laws of universe will bring you face to face with more of the things for you to appreciate thus keeping your mood in good feelings.

The law of attraction will conspire for you to move people in your directions that will bring cheer to you; will produce events in your life that will make you happy.

So, by simply practicing the law of appreciation, the universe will ensure that you are always in joyful mood.

Sure way to experience abundance.

"You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you." - Sarah Ban Breathnach

This morning was greeted by this message from an email newsletter that I received from Wes Hopper of Dailygratitude.com

I am sure you wonder how it is possible for our lives to change for the better by just giving thanks to everything we have as on date and everything we experience daily.

When do we say thanks? When do we feel the genuine gratitude?
When we receive something good from others and from nature, we say thanks because we have sincerely appreciated whatever we have received or experienced.

For once, forget about the material given to us and let us think about something beautiful that we observed and appreciated-a natural scene, a soul touching music or a life changing spiritual wisdom; we say thanks and we continue talk about it or think about it for a day or two.

This keeps our focus on those wonderful experiences. By the law of universe or more specifically, by the law of attraction, what we focus, expands. Those laws see to it that we experience more of the same (what we experienced and said thanks for).

Now, I am grateful for the newsletter that I received today that inspired me to write this blog. I am positive that the message in this blog post will reach at least one person in this world. And he will pass it on surely thereby creating a chain.

The hospitality of DCW.

I wrote a blog post long time back about my visit to DCW at Sahupuram near Tuticorin. I had mentioned about my friend Mohan and Saravanan in that blog post.

After so many months, I have received an email from a person named Ramji, who was all praise for the wonderful hospitality he received at DCW through Saravanan.

I am really thrilled and very happy that my blog post on something totally personal was read by someone.

Without editing his email, I reproduce it here.
"Hi Malathy

It is nice to see your blog. I am a chartered accountant now working in Chennai.

I am a ex DCW employee and worked with Saravanan.Ofcourse when I got my appointment letter (my first job) in DCW , Saravanan only took me to the bachelors accommodation canteen, factory, guest house.

I can not forget his hospitality and his humbleness and magnanimity. I have travelled 5 continents in the world and I stayed all top class star hotels in the world (like Sheraton New york, Hyaat London, Dubai Burj Al..).

But I have never experienced a warm reception like what Saravanan did it to me to me (that too a new employee joining as Management Trainee).

I am proud to see that Saravanan's name is now visible to the entire world.

I always say to my friends that You could meet 1 Mmuruga at Tiruchendur and the 2nd Murugan at Sahupuram (D.Saravanan).

If possible please post this as comment in your blog.

Thanks & regards

Never expect something you don't desire.

"You cannot exercise much power without gratitude, for it is gratitude that keeps you connected with Power." -Wallace Wattles

Wallace Wattles is the author of “Science of getting rich”.

Shall we examine why he laid that much emphasis on the power of gratitude?

As per dailygratitude.com, the answer is simple - "The principle of cause and effect".

Though we mutter thanks several times a day, do we really mean it or do we say that out of habit?

But we know when we really mean it, when we say ‘Thank you very much”, at times we receive something which would not have been possible by our own effort. It will come from our heart with the full meaning of gratitude.

“Ungratefulness pushes thing away. When we get something and our reaction is that it's not big enough, good enough, pretty enough, or valuable enough, the supply will shut down”.-DailyGratitude.com

When do we fail to feel gratitude; whenever we feel that something that is done for us is not all that important-right? So where is focus then; on that which is missing.

What happens at such a situation? We attract that ‘missing’ more there by shutting out the best.

The more we express gratitude, the more we expect to have things to be grateful for.

Raymond Holliwell said, "Never expect something you don't desire, and never desire something you don't expect."

Be mindful of the food you eat.

When I was only 4 years old, my father took me to his friend's house for tea. I was let to play with the children of the house.

When the time came for tea, I was called in and asked first to wash my feet and hands. This was new to me but I obeyed.

Then I noticed a strange sight. I saw the people in that house close their eyes for a moment with cookies in their closed fist. After a few seconds (that seemed like an hour to me), they opened their eyes and started eating the cookies first followed by tea.

On the way back home, I asked my father about the incident and he told me that they were thanking the God for the eatables on their table. I could not understand anything out of it.

Three days before, I was reading Dr.Wayne Dyer. In order to raise one's spiritual energy field, he has written several steps and one which is being mindful of the food you eat. Recognize the effort of farmer who cultivated the wheat for the bread we eat, the work of the transporter who bought the grain and took it to the grains dealer to sell, the business of the grains merchant, the effort of the bakers to bake this bread. This is what he meant about being mindful of the food we eat and what it took to reach your plate.

The implications have fully sunk in and I noticed tear drops in my eyes.

Count your wealth and say thanks.

The habitual feeling of lack of wealth, comforts, money is a chronic disease to man kind.
Sure, I am no exception to this. But I am getting it over and started realizing the wealth that I possess.

Can we take a small survey?
Write down now, breaking away from reading this blog post, everything you have that you have simply taken for granted.
House
Family
Kids
Household utilities and techno gadgets
Car

PC with Internet
Free time

It is all right if had left out many. If you go through your list, you will be amazed at what you have. Write all the minute details against each time and go through again.

Gratitude will just flow out of you uncontrollably.

Now say these words as many times as possible every day.
"I thank you father for all my wealth"

Please read again my earlier post on Power of Gratitude and then read below.

What happens when you genuinely feel gratitude?
Laurie Brenner says, "That emotional state releases "harmonic [hormones]
chemicals" within your body coursing through your electrical
nervous system as well as your endocrine system.

It's like when you laugh out loud, Vitamin K is released throughout
your body and your cells begin to glow. People who are grateful
and happy create a state of being that brings more of the same
events, people, places, experiences and circumstances to them that
continue to make them feel good."

Thank you Mrs Brenner.

If you liked what you read so far and impressed with Laurie Brenner, then I am sure you would like to read the remaining content of her email to me. I reproduce this because, I am sure, somewhere in your mind, it will make an impact.

"When we experience thoughts of doubts or other forms of
"negativity" instead of resisting the negativity - because remember
- what you resist persists - let it pass through you. Observe it -
allow it to be the contrast that creates what you want - but don't
focus on it. See the positive the negative frames.

Remember I talked about drawing from the right side of the brain?
Allow the negativity to help you create the picture that you want
and focus on the whole picture. Too often when we first start
working with the law of attraction we get "afraid" of our negative
thoughts which in turn creates a spiraling downward which is harder
to climb out of.

Keep your heart and your eyes turned toward the sun. Go outside
and breathe the fresh air. Think about it - what is the
alternative? A dirt nap? If you can't find something to be
grateful for - be grateful for the ability to breathe in and out.
It means you're alive and you have options.

Think about the story of Victor Frankl, a Jewish man born into a
family of civil servants in
Vienna in 1905.

In the Autumn of 1942 he, his wife, and his parents were deported
to the concentration camp of Theresienstadt. It is here that his
father died in 1943. Assisted by Dr. Leo Baeck and Reginga Jonas,
Frankl worked at the camp as a general medical practitioner, and
later, as a counselor to new arrivals and those with suicidal
tendencies. Then, in 1944 he was transported to
Auschwitz, where
his mother died, and later to the Turkheim, a concentration camp
not far from
Dachau. Meanwhile, his wife had been transferred to
the
Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where she died. (Quoted from
Wikipedia)

Frankl was the founder of logotherapy and Existential Analysis, the
"
Third Viennese School" of psychotherapy. In his book, Man's Search For Meaning,

(first published in 1946) he chronicles his experiences
as a concentration camp inmate and describes his psychotherapeutic
method of finding meaning in all forms of existence, even the most
sordid ones, and thus a reason to continue living.

"...We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who
walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last
piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer
sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one
thing: the last of the human freedoms - to choose one's attitude in
any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way..."

Victor Emil Frankl was liberated from the concentration camp in
1945. He went on to do many things, including running the
Vienna
Poliklinik of Neurologics which he did until 1971. He lived a full
life, remarried and wrote many books, dying at the age of 92 in
1997.

Of humor he writes, "Humor is another of the soul's weapons in the
fight for self-preservation. It is well known that humor more than
anything else in the human makeup, can afford an aloofness and an
ability to rise above any situation..."

If a man who lived to the age of 92 surviving the brutalities of a
WWII concentration camp - learns to not only survive but find beauty
in all people (both captor and captive), events and circumstances
where others would recoil and find only horror knows this - what
does that say of our own circumstances? How bad is it really?

Do yourself a favor - laugh. Be grateful - be ongoing. Enjoy your
life - find the little things that make you happy and make you
grateful. Write a list of your happy thoughts, read it over when
you're feeling down and you'll find yourself feeling better in no
time!

Enjoy today - enjoy the moment - this is your one place of power."

The story of Myrtle Fillmore.

Immediate after I wrote my previous post on the power of gratitude, I stumbled upon a website Daily Gratitude.

The website quotes on of my favorite author 'Joe Vitale' and his book "The Greatest Money-Making Secret in History". I have not yet read this book but I read his spiritual marketing book. That book is considered as a sort of bible for every internet marketer.

Ok, let me come back to Fillmore who was told that she has got just 6 months to live. Joe Vitale narrates her story in his book and explains how she healed herself by using the power of gratitude.

She was inspired by these words she heard a lecture on healtth. "You are a child of God, and you do not inherit illness!"

I just read the full story here.

If you are interested in learning the full power of gratitude, dailygratitude.com offers a free ebook on it.

The power of gratitude.

Taking things for granted is human attitude. Let us take that attitude for granted.

But that doesn't mean that the attitude is correct. It needs to be changed. Let me explain why.

In daily routine, several events occur that we name as coincidences. But it is not so. Nothing happens in this world by accident. Every situation, event or circumstance is attracted by our habitual thinking only.

When good things happen, we call it a miracle and when it is not so, we lament on our bad luck or bad time.

When good things happen we again don't question how and why it happened; we just take credit for that or call it a miracle. We simply fail to recognize the work of God behind it and promptly forget to express our gratitude.

Of course, God doesn't expect you to say thanks to him. But when genuinely feel gratified and say it so, we are in vibrational harmony with the universal force and we naturally attract more good things in life.

We all enjoy so many good things daily. For all these goodness, repeat this word as many times as possible in day. " Thank you father for my wealth"

Now it is time for me to say "Thank you Wayne Dyer".
