Irrefutable truth.

Deny anything in the world! Debate God, rebuke beliefs, write theories for or against the existence of God. Ultimately, when you are about to retire (unfortunately an inordinate delay), you will realize some hard truths.

The irrefutable truths:
You will realize that criticizing others' belief is a folly.
You will realize and repent for the ill-treatment you have meted out to your parents and relatives.
Smoke, drinks, women/men don't give lasting pleasure to you. (won't you want such pleasures you derived from them want to last and last)
Money had not bought you anything worthwhile so far in your life.
Deep down, you are still seeking happiness that has been elusive so long in spite of your education and riches.

What am I driving at?

Even I don't know. I am just thinking aloud. I am not sure any more and I am also not bothered anymore.

Because living is a bliss right now. I have no fears! I have surrendered.

The real meaning of freedom.

I have been listening to the discourse of Sri. Velukkudi Krishnan's on Nyasa Dasakam that explains the full meaning and purpose of surrendering the ' I '.

I have no proper words to explain my gratitude to him. The deep insight on the act of surrender is very profound and I watch myself melting literally towards God.

What happens after listening to his discourse is when we start practicing the surrender, we start shedding away all the dirt in us; the anger, worry, fear, the attitude of competitiveness, the urge to win over something or somebody slowly but surely disappears and a supreme sense of freedom sets in.

God, isn't that I would call 'FREEDOM'!

Om namo Narayanaya!

The easiest way to have permanent peace.

Inspired by Bhagvat Gita and a discourse on it by Sri.Velukudi Krishnan today in the television today, I am writing this blog post which will show you a surefire way to live in infinite peace.

To attain this invaluable peace of living, you need not:
Do penance on a hill;
Pray several times a day;
Indulge in charity;
Undergo self torturing methods to please God or seek forgiveness;
Recite slogans, chant mantras;
Meditate;
Read religious books;
Do religious rituals.

But do this only: Whatever you do in your life daily, just offer the result to God or Source. Don't have an ulterior motive for any of your actions except doing it just for the sake of doing, so you derive satisfaction.

What happens when you leave the befits of your actions to the God or Source?
You need not have to tell lie so you stand to gain;
You need not put on a face that is not you to impress others;
You need not bend anything to win;
You need not have to compete and thus live a stress free day;
You need not use devious ways to gain or save a few bucks.

When you are free of all these, naturally, a calmness set in! You are blisfully not bothered about any results that may arise out of your actions.

This is the highest vibaration of your self. At this state of mind, you release all your resistance (negative emotions and thought). And when resistance is removed, everything you desire, everything you ever wanted will easily start flowing towards you freely.

What exactly means by surrender will.

The rationalists will scorn at the word 'Surrender'. I don't blame them. I too was like that till the Divine said to me " I am with you always; surrender your will, desires, aspirations at my feet". I immediately complied and life is never the same. It is blissful to note that the God is sitting beside me, thinking for me, guiding me to make decisions.

Yes, surrender means accepting helplessness literally.

But what happens after the acceptance?
You are creating an energy field of receptivity for the solution to appear. (Dr. Wayne Dyer) I request you to read it again and munch on it.

It is like recognizing the fact that our plans always don't work but God's plan works always.

Wht happenes when you believe?

What exactly happens when we believe in God/ Cosmic Energy/ Supreme power?

Here is a chain of reactions that will shape your life the way you want it:
* When you recognize the divine power, you surrender your will.
* When you surrender your will, you are not attached to the outcome of your actions.
* This means you will start accepting any result-whether good or bad in your judgment.
* This ends in the vanishing of your fear-fear of failure, fear of loss, fear of ill-health, fear of poverty etc.
* When the fear goes, you are free. You are ultimately and fully free.

This freedom will allow you to pursue your daily work with absolutely joy and you will do it to the best of your ability.

And when you do that and derive happiness and joy from your effort without really concerned about the end result, you will start attracting everything you desire such as supreme health, abundant wealth and happy relationships.

So, it all starts with your belief of divine.

You can't get it all.

Somewhere in early forties, we all tend to measure our remaining days and seriously start preparing to accumulate wealth and relationship for the rest of our lives. Till that time, we have been enjoying our life happily and care free. Ironically, when we start preparing for the rainy days after 40, we also stop living -rather stop enjoying the moment.

"Ok, do you mean to say that the actions or preparation that we do after 40-should not be carried out?"

It is a question I ask myself and am still trying to find the correct answers. But one thing I am sure of and I guess many will agree on this that we definitely start preparing to leave this body. "After I die, what will happen to my family"-is the main reason for our contemplation of life after 40.

To some extent, I have an answer; rather, God gave me an answer. He pivoted me 360 degrees towards religion and made me undertake a religious ritual by which I surrendered everything at the feet of God.

Now I am at peace knowing that God will take care of my family and in fact, he has been doing exactly that all these years. Only I was under the wrong notion that I have been taking care of my family.

I surrendered.

So, at last, I surrendered at the lotus of feet of God (Lord Vishnu).

To attain this state of mind, several writers helped me. I can point out Dr. Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle and The Mother. I owe my fullest gratitude to all of them.

Another person who was instrumental for my surrender is Mr. Kannan, my husband's cousin. He narrated great many truths in Hindy mythology and the importance of surrender. He is a Vice President of a Pharamcaeutical firm.

So, the previous Sunday, I and my husband took Baranyasam (Prabatti) with the assistance of family religious leader Srimad Andavan.

Baranyasam means laying down all our aspirations, desires and concerns at the feet of God and dedicate the results of all our actions and deeds to the God.

Believe it friends, a deep sense of calmness has descended on both of us. A blissful peace is being experienced right now.

I chant "Namo Narayana" and immediately feel the peace and calm.

Picture at the left is White Lotus.

The picture at the left is White Lotus. It symbolizes God's consciousness. It is a sacred flower for staunch Vaishnavites and Buddhists.

Speaking of God's consciousness, I would like quote The Mother on that subject.
" The notion of what is good for you and what is not, is not the same to the divine consciousness. What appears to you as good and favorable is not always what is best for from a spiritual point of view. The divine perception of what will lead you fastest to your goal is absolutely different from yours."

I am giving below an incident that took place in my friend's life long time back. He was traveling from New Delhi to Madras in a train. He wanted to use the bathroom. Since it was occupied, he crossed over the vestibule to next coach's bathroom. As he was about to enter, another person rushed in, so my friend returned to his seat.

In the next minute, the train derailed and all the coaches up to the one he went by crossing the vestibule toppled. Imagine my friend's state of mind.

Affirm this: "I shall accept everything and understand later"

"You may not know at every moment, what is the best thing to do or how to do it but you can place your will at the disposal of the Divine to do the best possible. You will see it will have marvelous results. Do this with consciousness and sincerity and you will find yourself getting along with gigantic strides."-The Mother
