How to release public speaking phobia?

Very few people lack the fear of speaking publicly. In order to overcome this common phobia so that you can speak in confidence, there are various solutions. You actually gain confidence as you practice speaking in public. Your audience will have confidence when you speak with absolutely confidence.

Note down these points:

Eye contact.

Don’t let your eyes wander on ceilings, walls and windows. It's essential that you keep looking at the eyes of your audience.

Humor.

Add a bit of humor in your speech. This will relax both your audience and you. Read literature-especially classics. You will gain valuable insights on how to open your addressing, where to laugh and pause etc.

Passion

Talk about your passion-something you know and feel confident about it.

Prepare.

Buy a few books on building confidence written by famous authors only. Of course, read them, don’t just put them up in your showcase. Prepare your content by doing proper research. Remember to quote and give credit to them.
