How to solve your problems while sleeping?

It is no big secret that our brain works better when our mind is turned off. That is why meditation is suggested as we are trained to shut off our mind during meditation.

Nature is extremely kind to us. During our sleep, for a period of approximately two hours, our mind involuntarily is switched off and it goes out of our body to its source for recharging. It is a proven fact.

To utilize our mind’s full potential and to seek its assistance to get answers for our questions, do this very simple and doable exercise.

Shortly before bed time, spend a few minutes thinking about the question you want to answer or the problem you are trying to resolve.

Now go to sleep.

Still your mind is bothering you? Does it refuse your will to shut off?

Try meditating or listening to gentle music. Breathing deeply. Try to relax.

Ensure to keep a pad and pen near your bed because, your sought after answer will come to you during sleep-rather during your dream. You will be made to realize it by your inner spirit.

You may wake up with the answer in the middle of the night. Or, it may come to you as you awaken in the morning. Whenever it happens, write it down. It is very important. Don’t rely on your memory and convince yourself that you will record the answer when you wake up.

Redefining energy reveals its link to healing the subconscious.

In discussing the subconscious, few ever ask what we mean when we use the word “energy,” or how energy is related to healing/programming the subconscious.

Science defines energy as “the ability to do work.” What we require, however, is an expanded definition that reaches beyond material existence.

Energy, ultimately, is the ability to love. The greater the level of energy, the greater the ability to love. The highest possible ability to love is also known as the divine or unconditional love, which is love that has no limits.

We need to know something else about energy/love, too. All energy, even in material form, vibrates. That which we call the divine is simply the highest, finest, lightest, fastest vibration possible. Unconditional, limitless love has the fastest possible vibration.

Are you paying it forward?

Every person that had shed his/her body, had left behind something good for the people of the earth. They need not have been Mother Theresa, Marconi, A.G. Bell.

They could have been your father, mother, son, neighbor, the stranger you have once met or never met-everyone of them came to this earth with a specific good purpose and they had definitely achieved that before leaving this earth with a good name or a bad name.

Good or bad name are all our own interpretation and that again the echo of of our so called beliefs and values. And we know that our beliefs and values have changed and will keep changing.

In recognition of what we have received from our forefathers and ancestors, in gratitude of the life we are leading today, we should pause for a moment and question ourselves:"What have I given?".

See, it need not be something that is reported in the newspapers, spoken about in the U.N. or recognized in your own country publicly. Our aim is not to get all those but just to do our bit.

It can be as small as planting a sapling on the roadside and nurturing it for sometime, an hour of free education to the needy, a small donation to your local temple or just answering patiently to a wrong caller on your telephone.

Remember, whatever you do, you are creating a chain. It will be carried on; the chain won't be broken.

"Of all those people who went before to prepare the way for us, most of those people will not ask us to pay them back. But what they do ask of us is to pay it forward –that we make this world a better place for those who come after us in just the way that they made this a better place for us.”

The best way to pray!

Don't ask for anything specific when you close your eyes in preparation of praying. Leave the decision of what to give to you, to God. He knows absolutely what is best for you.

Here are some points with which I validate:
* A man prays for Mercedes Benz. He prayed ardently. He behaved well in his life. He stayed a true Christian. But he never got his Mercedes Benz. He was disappointed with God.

Why he didn't get what he prayed for?
Because God knows that he can't possibly maintain a Mercedes Benz. God also knew that a big car is going to need a big place to park.

Would he have gotten any other car?
Probably yes. If he had just prayed for the best car, he would have gotten one which would have been more than he wanted; why, it might have been a costlier car than MB!

Here is another example; this is a real story.
I had invested some money in share market. I prayed God that I should earn a certain amount daily.

I ended up losing daily. I invested more to recover the incurred losses. (Sounds familiar?) This time, I prayed God that I should recover my earlier losses. I lost more now.

How I turned around my fortune?
Finally, I put in my last of savings. The trading started yielding small profits. I have recovered most of my losses and yet to recover them fully. But I am making a progress.

This time, I did not pray. I just left the job providing me sustenance to God. I didn't ask for anything specific.

What did I construe?
God knows how much amount is best for me to lead a comfortable life. He knows that there are things that I will buy if I had more money than I needed. And those things that I would have bought would have brought unpleasantness or more expenditure to me.

I hope I have driven my point to the best of my efficiency. Please read it again and I am sure you will realize what I am saying.

How to get easy solutions for your problems?

This is for real and only hours old. These things happen in my life very regularly. I am sharing it here with you only to tell that such things are happening in your life too as often as in my life. The only difference is that you might fail to notice (or not willing to share).

Some might notice the oddity but may not give credit to the 'Miracle'.

I have sent a bankers cheque to Thirupathi Devastanam to book a special darshan to be availed on 28th July 2009. This money was sent nearly four months back.

Two days before, I dug out my correspondence with the devastanam and placed it on my computer table and decided to do something about it. The money was decently big to be concerned about.

Only today morning, when I returned from Bangalore, I saw that paper lying noticeably on the table. I was talking with my husband on how to follow this up and resolve the issue as I have not heard anything from the devastanam.

After a couple of hours, I received a snail mail which when I opened greeted me with the money I sent to the devastanam. They regretted their inability to accommodate us for the special darshan I paid for and returned the cheque uncashed.

So what this reveals?
Things work out easily but unpredictably once you set up the intention. You don't have to break your head on many issues as to how to resolve them. All you have to do is set up your intention for an amicable solution without decorating it with your schemes and plans.

The cosmic force will present you the solution; rather it will just solve it for you in a way that would not have been a part of your schemes and plans.

There are other ways too which we don't know but God knows. He is our friend, father, mother and teacher; trust him.

Our plans won't work but God's will.

I was casually browsing through some of older blog posts and this post caught my attention. I thought of republishing it again for my blog's new visitors.

As you keep thinking, you are surrounded by a heap of energy formations. So surround yourself with benevolent formations.

Don't allow thoughts you don't want, because that itself is the beginning of its realization.
It is bad and poisonous to concentrate on what you don't want, what one has to reject, what one
refuses to be. Thoughts of ill-will, hatred are not to be allowed to enter at all.

One must not admit bad thoughts into oneself under the pretext that they are merely thoughts.
They are tools of execution. You should not allow them to exist in yourself.

This comes by a lot practice and perseverance. But once you start seeing the results of positive thinking, life becomes interesting, you won't never get bored.

You can literally enjoy the life you always wanted just by THINKING about them alone."

How to get what you want?

I, you (probably) and many will reply like below to the most asked question: What you want to be?
Reply:
“When I get that, I will be joyful.”

There is a flaw in this cliche. I found out from my experience. I used to reply like that earlier in my life but it changed at the blink of an eye when I read that in order to be to get something I want, I must be joyful first.

When you want something that can create certain vibration (for example: joy) in you, you must first produce the same vibration with in you to attract vibration of similar wavelength.

Unless you are joyous at present, you can't expect to attract materials, events, situations that can give you joy, however you pray for or apply other law of attraction methods like affirmations and visualization. Only positive vibrations can attract positive vibrations.

However there is another issue hidden in this: If you are already joyful even without any external material or conditions, then, why should you want anything for?

I hope you catch the essence of this law of universe.

Now, how do you raise your vibrations?
Well, each one follow their own method. I look at pictures like this.

Why should we go to temple?

If you're spiritually alive, you're going to love this!
If you're spiritually dead, you won't want to read it.
If you're spiritually curious, there is still hope!

A 'devotee' goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to the Temple .

'I've gone for 30 years now, he wrote, and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 mantras. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the Gurus are wasting theirs by giving services at all.

This started a real controversy in the 'Letters to the Editor' column, much to the delight of the editor.

It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher:

I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals.
But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals.

But I do know this... They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work.

If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to the Temple for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!

When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible!

A handbook of dreams and fortune telling!

Never once in my blog post I have given indication that I am a believer in knowing what is in store in future. I never consulted any fortune teller, a palmist or an astrologer.

I believe in one this very firmly:
"Whatever happens in my life is for my own good only as the divine sees fit". So, what is he point in trying to know what is going to happen?

Still, I received a gift yesterday a paperback entitled, "A Handbook of Dreams and Fortune-Telling"

So, what is in this book that can interest me?
If I dream of standing in a carpeted room, that should be interpreted as an indication of coming riches. My God! So much .....no, it is better I keep my belief to myself.

I intend to gift this book to one of my husband's friends who is mad about these life mysteries.

What is your choice?

Have you sought the assistance of psychic mediums to manifest your desire?
Have you approached any other medium to get to know your future?
Have you approached any hermit for anything?
Have you used Tarot cards, Ouija board to know your future?

Then, you would have probably found out you have wasted a lot of time and money in pursuit of all the things.

It all works out in a very simple way. You are given the choicest of choices by your creator-the choice to think. By the way you think, you build up your beliefs.
By your beliefs, you experience everything in this world.

Using the choice to think, you change your thinking that will also change your beliefs and that will change your life experience.

There is an unwritten law of universe: What you believe inside is what you will see outside!

Pray to who?

I was provoked yesterday by a believer but against idol worship. I don't easily get provoked but of late, I am deeply involved in Srivaishnavism. Now I know the full meanings of its philosophy.

I don't criticize any belief; each one to his or her own belief. As long as one has a belief of God, it is fine. Belief is the only link to your creator.

I put forward my argument like this which is based on teaching of 'The Mother' of Sri Aurobindo Ashram of Pondicherry, India.

It is difficult to pray without praying to someone
Pray to what
One doesn't pray to something that has no personality
One prays to someone who can hear us
If there is nobody to hear to us, how could one pray?
Prayer is a personal thing, addressed to personal being, who can hear us and answer.

No, my arguments did not create the desired impact on the listener but I am just not bothered.

The easiest way to manifest what you want.

Look, you ask for anything right now. Right now. Suppose, if you want more things, write out in a paper; list them out.

Give yourself 24 hours.

Now take your list out and go through one by one. Tick off them by reasoning out as to why you want a certain thing. Done? List is now short?

Put the shortened list away for another 24 hours. Again go through. Applying the same filtering of why you want anything, you might again score off some more. If not, it is quite alright dear.

Let me come to the point now. When you think about why you want something, you are mostly like to get it for two reasons.
* The cosmic force doesn't want to deprive you of your necessities.
* You also go soft on your inner resistance when you think on the lines of why you want.

But your resistance might surface when you look at your list of wants and you recognize somethings that you can do without. If you still persist with such things, you will increase your inner resistance like when will it come, how it will come, who will give you the means to buy them and so on.

Got my point?

This works; I swear!

What to do with anointing oil?

Religiously, I use the usual products that enhance the mood to feel the Divine. Flowers, incense sticks, wick lamps and occasionally scented candles too make my list of preferred items while performing the morning prayer that we call 'pooja'.

I mostly stand and but my husband sits in a plastic chair; we don't use any anointing oil or faux crystals. A foreigner visited our house last month. After seeing her devotion to our religion, he gifted my husband a bottlt that is shaped of cross.

It contained Frankincense & Myrrh anointing oil and had a nice fragrance. We didn't know what to do with it.
Last week, I came across a blog post citing a similar incident and the recipient of the gift gave it away to the local church.

Can I also do the same?
