What is a paranormal resource?

I keep coming across this word, 'Paranormal' and I only that paranormal means anything that is above normal.

If a person is said to posses qualities that are not seen generally in most of the human beings or if a person performs something extraordinary physically which even a physically much well built cannot do, then that person is said to be paranormal.

According to the Journal of Parapsychology, the term paranormal describes "any phenomenon that in one or more respects exceeds the limits of what is deemed physically possible according to current scientific assumptions.

I would call telepathy, extra-sensory perception, psychokinesis are all paranormal qualities.

Anecdotal evidence:

Though not scientific, an anecdotal approach to the paranormal involves the collection of anecdotal evidence, which is an informal account of something that presumably happened. Anecdotes are often in contrast to empirical evidence, which are types of formal accounts that can be investigated using the scientific method.

Wikipedia says that Charles Fort (1874 – 1932) is perhaps the best known collector of paranormal anecdotes, who is supposed to have compiled as many as 40,000 notes on unexplained phenomena.

I would very much like to read his compilation which I am sure will make an interesting reading. Can anyone tell me where I can get that?

I read that http://psychics.co uk has a massive paranormal resource with lots of real life stories and one of the busiest free psychic chat rooms on the Web.

Thank you Wikipedia!

The dream of lucid dreaming.

Ever since I learnt about lucid dreaming, I wanted to develop that quality though I never took serious efforts.

But the desire was residual and I also blogged about it once and discussed with a friend of mine in great detail a few months back.

Without actually realizing I started remembering my dreams vividly even after a few days and last night it happened-the lucid dreaming. Yes, I while I was dreaming about a religious function that I intended to initiate, I distinctly realized that I am dreaming and this is not a reality.

I think my strong desire to develop lucid dreaming quality finally manifested itself. I don’t know whether it will happen again or not but I was elated.

High quality Titleist used golf balls.

Only a few weeks before I first came to know that used golf balls also are being bought extensively in the U.S. I had a doubt whether golf clubs like tennis clubs sell off used golf balls.

Then only I learnt that the used golf balls are actually supposed to be lost in golf courses and they are later retrieved and sold at a cheaper prize. This is carried out in an organized manner by LostGolfBalls.com.

Actually, it has earned a contract to retrieve the lost golf balls from as many as 2500 golf courses. It is quite often that golf balls get lost while playing and invariably, neither the golf players nor the grounds men bother to search for them.

This is where LostGolfBalls.com comes into the picture. It retrieves the lost golf balls, and clean them meticulously, sort them by quality and by brand too.

They are then packed neatly and sold at a very cheap prize. Among various brands, Titleist golf balls are generally in high demand followed by other brands that includes Nike and Wilson.

Lost Golf Balls announced recently that it has furthered its mission of recycling used golf balls by becoming a preferred supplier of The First Tee, an organization dedicated to promoting character development and life-enhancing values to underprivileged children through the game of golf.

Do children exist before conception?

As I am deeply interested in the mysteries of life, I have bought several books on Life Mysteries, life before and after death, astral world, out of body experiences and intrepretations of dreams etc.

I remember reading that before we are born, the time we spend on the astral world following the previous birth's death, may vary depending on the growth of our spiritual development in the previous birth.

For the next incarnation, we choose the parents and place of birth that will further our spiritual growth.

Elisabeth Hallett has written an interesting article on the title of this blog post. An excerpt is given below that will certainly make you read the article fully.

"But are these arrangements hard and fast? Some experiences point to a certain creative flexibility at play in the pre-conception world. For example, a four-year-old girl told her mother that before she was born, she and Jesus used to sit together while she decided whether to be a boy in one family or a girl in another. "She said she decided at the last minute to come to us as a girl," the mother reports, "and then she and Jesus laughed and went off to play till it was time to go." It may not be hard evidence, but it's thought-provoking! "

Thank you Elisabeth Hallett!

Answeres directly from God!

Follwing is the list of answeres by God for questions asked by a man.

I give below only the answeres as they are thought provoking and absolutely true even without the questions.

Would you take a simple test just for fun? Try to write the relevant questions for each answer.
Then at the end of this blog post, find the link to the original post with full questions and answeres.

Yes, these answeres and questions belong to another blogger and I am extremely happy to have found it and equally happy to share it with you.

God: Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.

God: Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.

God: Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.

God: Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go.
Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

God: When they suffer they ask, "Why me?" When they prosper, they never ask, "Why me?" Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, yet few want to be on the side of the truth.

God: Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.

God: Don't believe your doubts and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve not a problem to resolve.

High quality leads for hospitality industries.

A statistic somewhere I read says that at present more than 78,000 travel related web sites operate online. This statistics doesn’t cover offline travel service providers. Shall we assume equal number of entrepreneurs offline?

How do all these businesses survive? Where do they go for customers? How do they announce new travel packages and discount holiday deals?

I wonder whether Martin Worldwide is aware of the above statistics! They must be or how else they are considered to be the number 1 business leads provider in the world?

Travel leads as well as hospitality business leads are worth several million dollars to the entire hospitality industry. Even other related industries in this sector such as entertainment, hobby and time share resorts also depend on leads provided by Martin Worldwide because they give guarantee to the performance of the leads.

Their high potential product ResponseCom is the outcome of long years tracking, filtering and compiling. I read one testimonial somewhere in a forum. The testifier was located as far as SriLanka and he says that the response rate of the travel leads that he purchased from Martin Worldwide was excellent.

For more information on Martin Worldwide and its direct marketing products and services, please call (888) - 267-3545 or contact: Chip Matthews, Client Relations Manager chip@martinworldwide.net

Velukudi Krishnan on Bhagavat Gita.

Our entire family gets up by 6.30 AM daily excluding weekends to watch Velukudi Krishnan speak on Bhagavat Gita.

With his booming voice and crystal clear pronunciation, he explains every slogam of Bhagavat Gita interspersed with interesting examples.

The way he explains some very deep meaning of the slogams is easy to follow and practice. He gives several historical anecdotes during his 15 minutes recital.

The way the universe functions, who and where we are, what is our role in this life, for what purpose we take birth, what is God's role are all explained as Lord Krishna's Bhagavat Gita.

The 15 minutes pass away very quickly and suddenly when it is over, we involuntarily salute him in gratitude. It is being telecast in Podhigai TV.

How to write effective affirmations?

I firmly believe in the power of affirmations and I have written about it in the past.

I have subscribed to many web sites who email me daily one or two positive affirmations with detailed explanations about how those affirmations work and for what purpose.

Today, I have received an email from Quantum Mind Power about how to write our own affirmations. This is an eye opener for me because, I have committed a few mistakes in the past while I wrote affirmations to my friends.

I give below a few examples:

1. The affirmation must be believable to the subconscious mind.

If you are financially broke and you say to yourself “I earn $100,000 per year”, is this believable to your mind? Instead of saying “I earn $100,000 per year,” Say “I choose to earn $100,000 per year”

2. The subconscious mind seeks for proof.
It is the feeling you attach to money that makes you rich or poor. How can we turn this to our advantage?
Instead of feeling pain when spending money, what if we associate pleasure with it? Next time when you go out shopping, at the moment you take out

your money or credit card, say this affirmation to yourself “I always have more than enough to spend.”

3. The affirmation must obey the 3 Ps factor.

The 3 Ps are Positive, Present Tense, and Personal.

Enjoy a free journey to Atlantis

Fearful and apprehensive faces were seen in the queue that was standing to buy the tickets that will allow them to take the unforgettable journey to Atlantis. But most of the children showed expectation on their faces with no sign of any fear.

We saw a few of them the day before also at the Shark Encounter in the Sea World Orlando. That was also a thrilling experience. We rode through a specially made carrier in a big tank full of sharks.

The familiar faces at the entrance to the journey to Atlantis also recognized us but their cheer turned into bewilderment when we simply walked past them without bothering to buy the tickets.

Yes, we were very fortunate to have bought the Disney World Tickets well in advance from Orlandofuntickets.com. More over, we were given the second day sight seeing free at the Disney World.

Though we felt sorry for our friends, we wondered why they have not planned their vacation like us.

My son who had befriended a teenager in that crowd gifted his Disney World brochure that he got from Orlandofuntickets.com. I thought it was a nice gesture. At least they will know how to save time and money for their future visit.

Stop Wanting!

What will be your reaction if you confront the words, "Stop Wanting". Persons new to spirituality may look confused or even get offended.

But, those who are inclined to read spirituality and self development may wait to hear further. I take this blog readers in the second category.

When I first read about this, it made a lot of sense to me. There is no denial that we should aspire for the best. We need not curb our desires for the fear of being labeled as greedy or crazy. We should not lend a willing ear to such opinions and at the same time we should not also criticize them.

What we should not do is to remain in the wanting state forever. This will attract more of that state of mind.

For example, let us say we want to enjoy a vacation at Hawaii. No, problem, everyone should go there and find out why the entire world is crazy about Hawaii.

Our wanting that vacation is now let in to the universe and it will conspire for us by providing the right opportunities at the right time, it will provide the required funds, move the right people who will be willing to be your guide.

Notice the emboldened letters-'right time'. So, when it is not materialized as per our wish, it is our nature to be disappointed and we let ourselves remain in the state of wanting (unfulfilled ).

In this state, we ignorantly shut ourselves from receiving the universal help because being in the state of depression or worry shut all avenues to receive the universal abundance.

So what is the solution?
Simply "Let go and Let God". When we let the universe know of our desires, we should firmly and unflinchingly believe that it will manifest at the right time and go about our day to day life cheerfully.

Oh yes! We can do one thing to speed up the process. We should start imagining our feelings and emotion as though we are in Hawaii.

How to do this?
Read websites about Hawaii, look to those serene beaches, read about vacation resorts and the amenities offered there, get to know about Hawaiian food and culture. This will keep you busy in your imagination.

The more vividly and lively your imagination the quicker your holiday will materialise.

In short, your imagination is more powerful than your will.

List of Personal Development blogs.

Yesterday was a 'no assignment' day for me which meant I could read various blogs of my interest, visit bloggers who have visited my blogs. A bit of blog promotion has to be done once in a way-right?

First, I stumbled on to a review of this blog in bloggeries. It was a pleasant surprise. I know that bloggeries is one of the top blog directories. Next, I found about bloggeries forum, registered and spend more than an hour there.

From there I visited a few blogs on spirituality and personal development. First I found out
One Powerful world and that led me to God Sleuth which subsequently led me to Priscilla Palmer's personal development list of blogs.

I was very impressed with the above three blogs and I know for sure that the entire list is worth spending to share my knowledge in the spiritual field and learn from others also.

I requested Priscilla that this blog may be included in her list and she promptly did the same.

The following is the said list of personal development blogs which I intend to visit one by one. It seems I have found a great treasure. I am really excited to have found so many blogs in my field of interest. I think this keep me busy for the next year.

Thank you Priscilla.
