How to age graciously?

I am not going to list out 10 points for healthy aging. I have no stomach for giving advice. I hate unsolicited advices.

So, what I am going to do?

I am going to share why I am more admired now than a few years before. I am now 50. A golden age I feel. I don’t feel aged but I behave a like an old woman.

What does that mean?

It simply means I show in my actions and speech that I can understand even the silliest remark and I can brush away graciously impolite talk of parents of my students, politicians, friends and relatives. I act in such way that I have not noticed others’ indecency.

This is one way aging graciously.

Another way is I go out of the way to help youngsters especially when they err as a normal youth.

I don’t demand a seat in trains and buses as an elderly woman. In fact, I consciously stand erect to attract admiration than a seat by showing signs of age.

Well, that is all for now.
