Oh, no, not again.

A week or two ago, I wrote an article on the nature of news item that we are forced to read, hear or view by just about every news media in the world either offline or online.

It is a pity that the online news sources too take after their offline counterparts and chugs out news that are not newsworthy and that we really don't want to know about. But is definitely assumed by the news media that we want only that and nothing but that.

Internet is a fantastic media that can be converted to be highly productive. This is the fastest media too and the cost of publishing/brodcasting/podcasting/video casting is negligible.

This is a set of 'Odd News" that is appearing in Yahoo right now:
* Wife blames shooting on burglar alarm (AP) Thu, 28 Jun 2007 03:21:22 GMT
* Man gets 10 years in license shooting (AP) Thu, 28 Jun 2007 03:20:57 GMT
* Wis. man accused of stomping pet fish (AP) Thu, 28 Jun 2007 03:19:05 GMT
* Drivers arrested for speeding at 141 mph (AP) Wed, 27 Jun 2007 21:30:46 GMT

Do you want only these news?

Amen.
