Confidence and charisma are closely related.

I read it somewhere a few days ago.

But I beg to differ from that phrase. Confidence shows mostly in peoples' actions and reactions.
It shows in how they carry themselves.

Charisma is a relative term and does not always coincides with confidence. Most of the time charismatic people may be coercing their mind to be confident while on the inner surface, they may be lacking exactly that.

Also, just because someone speaks something emphatically does not mean they are confident of their point; it may be a ploy for self defense.

Confident persons never argue but say their opinion firmly but politely. One can detect it easily from the way they deal with problems.

This is my humble opinion.
