Energy Healings: Basics of Prana, Reiki and Aura .

Once, there was a wrong notion that only Asians are aware of energy healing techniques like “prana”, “aura”, “reiki” and “tantra” just because they are said to be originated from Indian sages.

But there is more information on energy healings written by hundreds of highly educated westerners.

So, what are these mysterious healing techniques? Are they true? Is there any solid proof?

So many naïve questions that have to be answered.

There are seven chakras in our body and these chakras are called energy centers that are control our physical and mental health.

Chakra or energy center is a term used in Pranic healing, an ancient Hindu system of energy healing. “Prana” means life energy.

Ah yes, the ‘Aura’. Don’t we all want others to see our own aura? Aura is a non-physical body, a sort of vibration that pertains to what is called ‘thejas’ in Sanskrit. I read somewhere that the aura that covers our body is said to have seven layers pertaining to the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of an individual as manifested by energy.

Reiki originated from Japan. Reiki stands for universal energy. This energy is said to prevail all over the universe. Students of Reiki are taught how to tap this energy to heal physical, emotional, and mental illnesses.

My husband too is a Reiki healer. Anyone can become a reiki healer provided he must have belief in it and it should be learnt properly from a reiki master.

Energy healing works 100% and has cured fatal diseases which were given up by modern medicines.

Energy healing is safer because no one is administered any sort of material on or inside the body.
