Lose weight with lap band.

How very convenient if we were created with:

A switch which when turned off stops our thinking process;

A pair of eyes at the back of our head too, to be aware of what is happening in our back;

A button when pressed stops our nails growing;

A way to alter the size of our stomach;

Of all the above, the last one which is really longed for by the obese people is now made possible with the advent of Tampa lapband surgery that is now very popular in the U.S.

After reading about other bariatric (relating to or specializing in the treatment of obesity) surgeries, I understand that with the lab band surgery, the urge to eat is not reduced keeping the appetite as it is.

Journey Lite specializes in Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding which is also known as LAGB or the LAP-BAND® System procedure.

In this procedure, your Journey Lite surgeon inserts an inflatable adjustable gastric band through small (laparoscopic) incisions and positions the band around the upper portion of your stomach. This creates a small stomach pouch and passageway into the lower part of the stomach. This procedure will allow you to feel full and satisfied while you actually eat less and lose excess weight.

This is wonderful news for the over weight people who might have tried many methods to reduce their weight like food supplements and severe diet restrictions that always led to harmful side effects.

Lapband surgery is totally safe because it doesn’t require cutting, stapling or rerouting of the stomach or intestines; it is also reversible and adjustable.

Journey Lite is a fast growing network of specialized surgical facilities, highly skilled and experienced bariatric surgeons and a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing the safest and least invasive surgical weight-loss solution and the most comprehensive support programs available today.

Good Evening Malathy!

I know several people who have had the bipass (stomach) surgery which I know is a lil different from the Lapband, and out of the 5 people I know 2 who have done great 2 have been in and out of the hospital and the fifth just had it done so we will see.

I know struggling with weight issues are very difficult. Almost everyone on my mother's side of the family (females) have major weight problems; my mom included.

My mother refuses surgery of any kind. She is in the process of losing Lbs. the old fashion way. (Wishing her luck)

I hope for health, healing, and best wishes for those struggling with this and I hope tech continues to advance to help these poeple.
