The theory of reincarnation is appealing for several reasons:
*it seems to offer an explanation for the inequalities of life,
*it can offer hope for those who desire a continuation of life and meaning beyond the lives we presently find ourselves in,
*it's an indication of a plan that overrides and controls our very existence.

But the theory of reincarnation addresses these concepts in meager and very unsatisfactory terms and at best one is left with only hazy ideas of how and why it all fits together. Still, it would be difficult to give up a belief in the theory unless there was something much better in place to substitute.

The Urantia Book goes into all the ramifications of these musings in great detail and with exquisite definition and lays out a plan of so much greater satisfaction, logic, meaning than any teachings of reincarnation attempt.

Actually, reincarnation is but a hazy reflection of a grand concept of the mortal ascendant career that we enter into once our life here is through, a concept disclosed long ago in the early days of human history that has since been misinterpreted to mean repeated lives here on earth.

Confidence and charisma are closely related.

I read it somewhere a few days ago.

But I beg to differ from that phrase. Confidence shows mostly in peoples' actions and reactions.

Nava Thirupathi.

Last week I along with my friends took a week long vacation and went to see the Nava Thirupathi.

It consists of nine temples of Lord Vishnu. All the temples are located between Tiruchendur and Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu, India.

What surprised me was the way the temples were maintained. They were all spotless and free of stale smell as has been the case of other ancient temples of Tamilnadu. One of the top corporate houses 'TVS' have come forward to maintain the temples in an impeccable manner.

Even though we were driving in a car, it took as nearly 4 hours to complete the round. Most of the approcah roads were bad and the recent rains created havoc in those remote villages.

But overall a satisfying trip really.

Laws of Universe.

I figure I have at last come in to the grips of all the Universal laws by which the entire universe functions.

My spiritual journey took off about 16 months ago and now the journey is picking up high speed.

Of the several universal laws the first one that comes to my mind is Unconditional Love.

Nasdaq chief lacks skills in economics.

Bob Greifeld, the chief executive of the Nasdaq stock market, admitted under oath that he did not understand how to calculate gross profit margin, one of the most rudimentary formulas in business accounting.

Mr Greifeld’s lack of basic accounting knowledge was exposed this year during a case in the New Jersey Superior Court. The Nasdaq chief filed a lawsuit against a company called Tours of Enchantment, which had organised a $600,000-plus reunion for his family at a luxurious castle in Ireland.

Mr Greifeld, meanwhile, claimed in his lawsuit that he understood the contract to be based on cost plus a mark-up of 38 per cent. If an item that costs $100 is marked up by 38 per cent, it becomes $138 on an invoice. If the same item is required to show a 38 per cent profit margin, it becomes $162, because gross profit margin is calculated by dividing profit by the selling price of an item.

In fact I am yet to complete the book but I have only about 50 pages left to be read.

Even about six months ago I read that by being infinitely patient, you are in tune with the Universal force and in order to receive its omnipotent powers, one must practice patience.

Just put it into practice while you have completed a day’s work and retire to bed in a relaxed manner after leaving the result to your favorite God, trusting him completely without an iota of doubt.

I guarantee you will wake up to find the expected results.

How I attracted the realization of my wish.

There are events and instances in our life that happen for a reason without doubt but we often fail to recognize them.

Also mostly such incidents turn out for the good, though at the time it happens, it may not seem so and we attribute it to bad luck or call it accidents.

I am a voracious reader since my younger days. I used to read almost anything that my eyes fell upon. For that habit of mine, I was usually criticized in the sense that it was a waste of time. I did not allow them to bother me.

This reading habit led me to spiritual enlightenment books in the month of September 2005.

The writings of Wayne Dyer, Joseph Murphy, Eckhart Tolle and Dr.David Hawkins, have opened an inner flood gate. I was genuinely shaken out of my intellectual trance and I was deeply magnetized by the principles of Law of Attraction and Law of Cause and Effect.

I started practicing them with utmost sincerity.

Imagine my surprise when I received a fully paid holiday package to my child hood dream place ‘Grand Canyon’ from a total stranger who was influenced by my recommendation of Wayne Dyer in this blog a few months ago.

He wrote to me that Wayne Dyer guided his life in a direction, which he never believed existed.

How I manifested my day dream.

Today I am sitting in front of the PC and work through the internet to earn my livelihood. This, I dreamt about in 1998, when I first entered the web world.

Were you ridiculed in your younger days for day dreaming? Almost everybody was criticized for day dreaming.

But tell me, if all those great scientists did not day dream, would it have been possible all the ‘taken for granted’ scientific advancements we are enjoying today?

The dreams of inventors were manifested just because they gave a form to their thoughts, which the Universe worked unseen to bring into reality.

Some of the dreams were inspiration for them to invent new technology. Some derived inspiration just by watching nature.

Echo was a reason for the radio. Birds were the reason for planes.

Reports of sightings of UFO (flying saucer) were the inspiration to go to moon to explore the possibilities of finding life in distant planets.

Human race has not given up hope even today in finding other forms of life in planets other than Earth.

My internet research to write an article on UFO, revealed to me some interesting tidbits.

* UFO is a 1970 British science fiction television series about a secret military organization which defends the Earth from Alien invaders.

* More than 2000 reports of unidentified aircraft in the Scandinavian nations were published in 1946. It was supported by a few more random reports from France, Portugal, Italy and Greece.

* The first widely publicized U.S. sighting was in 1947.

* During the reign of the Pharaoh Thutmose III around 1450 BC, there is a description of multiple “circles of fire” brighter than the sun and about 5 meters in size that appeared over several days.

* In 322 BC when Alexander was besieging Tyre in Phoenicia, another “flying shield” moving in triangular formation with smaller “shields” approached. Supposedly the larger object shot beams of light at the city shattering its walls and other defenses. Alexander's army quickly took advantage of the situation and seized the city. The objects then departed.

Oh yes! I left out one more method that is displaying different forms of tattoos on the body.

Though the general view in modern day about those who are toting tribal tattoos is that they are showing their rebellious attitude, there are others who inscribe it on their bodies for different reasons.

For example, Katryna Beaupre’s tattoo is a memorial to her father. Jeanette is displaying her love for an orphan boy through a few sentences that she tattooed on her back.

This means we are sure of some of our traits and we are certain we will behave in a certain way in a given circumstance-right?

I am asking you now, think honestly and answer, ‘Are you sure? Did you act exactly the same when faced with a particular situation?’

Definitely not. Your reactions varied depending on your mood.

When you are in a happy state of mind, your heart is filled with happiness and you tend to show your good face.

But when you are in a sullen mood, you may even reject a good deed done to you.

So why not fill up your mind and heart with happy and benevolent emotions always?

Your nature is spirit like (God Like); you were born with Godly qualities only. But as you grow, you pick up hatred, jealous and vengeful qualities and assume a totally different character and believe that is who you are.

If you shed this ego identity, you will fully realize who you are; the world will look beautiful to you.

Surrender does not mean giving up.

From ancient times to modern era, every religion that was founded on certain spiritual principles emphasized the importance of surrender.

Everyone when they were younger (including me), ridiculed this preaching.
“Surrender? Do you mean I should be a coward?” was our reaction to the word surrender.

Can’t blame anyone for this ignorant outburst.

What I learnt in my matured age is ‘to surrender’ is ‘to offer’. Whenever a thought or a desire pops out of my mind, I was taught to offer it to God. This will relieve me immediately from keep thinking about ways to manifest it into reality as quickly as possible.

And when that doesn’t happen, we start our thinking process again. Try out a different planning to achieve our goal. Again it does not work out.

This results in frustration and depression which consequently leads to health problems.

On the other hand, when you surrender your desire or goal to the Universal intelligence, you can be assured of its power to guide you in the proper direction to reach your destination.

Have faith in the Universal power. It will conspire for you. It is for you. After all, you are a part of it, an extension of it.

Never doubt this: ‘You are made to prosper.’
