Change is Possible-have faith.

The miseries and maladies that we are forced to experience longer than necessary stem from one single fact which we refuse to believe that change is possible. When something bad happens to us, we expect or believe it will last for ever. We resist them.

Remember, when you resist something, you prolong the experience.

All (seemingly) good or bad things happen in our life to teach a lesson. Once you have learnt it, you are ready for a new experience which is again (seemingly) good or bad. This just proves that nothing is constant which alone is a constant.

Changes occur and will always. Trust in this fundamental law of universe and you will lead a blissful life.

Godly qualities:
Godly or divine qualities such as patience, forgiveness, compassion, wisdom, and gratitude don't embrace us in a minute or over night. We are given myriad experiences from which we are expected to gain these qualities.

That is the beauty of human life.

How to banish unwanted thoughts?

Most of the time statistics mislead us but they reveal something. We can take it as a base to elaborate further on.

For example, the mental health field says that 3% of us suffer from Unwanted Thoughts. It may be more as the time goes. Before checking the veracity of the figure, let us examine the various natures of ‘unwanted thoughts’.

· Shameful thoughts

· Crazy thoughts.

· Destructive thoughts..

While most these thoughts might have their origin within us, some of them might appear from nowhere. In this blog post, I would like dwell on the thoughts that appear from nowhere which the psychologists call as Obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD).

It is a kind of anxiety induced by thoughts which appear to have no connection at all to our daily life routines but still, they are of intrusive nature. These intrusive thoughts fill us with extreme uneasiness which when further analyzed would reveal residual worry or fear.

Symptoms of OCD:

· An urge to oppose anything what we hear or read

· Fear of forgetting something important though actually we have not forgotten such as locking the door

· Unable to spend even for our essential due to fear of going broke

· Unreasonably intolerant towards other religions

An obsession to get rid of these unwanted thoughts would even lead to a sort of temporary insanity.

The other day, I was reading about this particular mental ailment when I stumbled on a solution for this by a leading psychology expert named Bradley Thompson.

He claims that he has found out an effective method of eliminating all Unwanted Thoughts from the source. Asked whether his method would seize recurrence, he assures they never occur again.

Naturally, his method of eliminating unwanted negative thoughts has worldwide attention.

When it is wise to lose your ego?

We read so many interesting things daily (not you?) but all are not thought provoking instantly. However, when it does, it remains etched in our memory for ever. Can you think of something like that now?

Today, I read this following:
WHY WE HAVE SO MANY TEMPLES, IF GOD IS EVERYWHERE ?
A WISE MAN SAID: AIR IS EVERYWHERE, BUT WE STILL NEED A FAN TO FEEL IT.

Here is one more:
IT’S BETTER TO LOSE YOUR EGO TO THE ONE YOU LOVE. THAN TO LOSE THE ONE YOU LOVE....... BECAUSE OF EGO.

Don't ever say "no time".

Don't ever regret for the things that you did not enjoy in your life because you spent your working days by saying you have no time. That might have been true but you said it with a sense of pride instead of feeling sad.

Most of us in out life would find life almost too much to handle, when 24 Hours in a day is not enough. Read further if it makes sense to you, at least show this to your children before it is too late. The following content is received by me through email from my sister.

Quote begins:
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.

They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family, children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions – Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' He continued,
there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

So...

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner
.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.' Quote ends.

Man's quest and search would indicate who he thinks he is.

Two conversations that I read and heard made immense sense to me. I wish to share them with you here.

1 What are Godly qualities?
It is only the atmosphere that you create when you enter a place where others are present. How do you think the atmosphere would be if God enters with all his bliss and benevolence?

2. Your search and quest in life is a strong indication of who do you think you are.
I heard this meaningful sentence from Sri. Velukkudi Krishnan swamigal in his religious discourse.
"If you you are a cow, you would look out for lands to graze.
Tigers would hunt for other animals.
Man would always work for money and food if he thinks he is just a body.

Man's quest would be to enhance his soul if he realizes that he is a soul in a body."
